100 year anniversary of L'Inferno features Mohammed in Hell

100 years ago, L'Inferno, an Italian silent film based on Dante's work and inspired by the art of Gustave Dore was released.

In it was a scene that contemporary filmmakers would be fearful to make, depicting the suffering of Islam's founder, Mohammed, in Hell.
