I was in high school at the time and had a fascination with this topic. on 9/11 I knew for sure it was tied to the first WTC bombing. HBO made a movie about it in the late 1990s. At the end Ramzi Yousef is being flown in a helicopter past the south side of Manhattan. He looked at the WTC and said "Next time we will bring them both down."
The whole world should have known 9/11 was coming. These terrorists were obsessed with the WTC.
