Its a shame we didn't have cellphones with cameras 25 years ago.
Gord Perks used to give speeches at the University of Toronto as an evironmental activist where he would beseech the audience to oppose public transit because without them "cities will ossify and die".
Perks was big into urging people to oppose urbanization and for everybody to live in communes on farms.
So here is a city politician with greater aspirations who has a history of hating cities!

I live and work in the downtown of my city. No car and walk most places I go. And I still do not like congestion.
