Arizona State U Prof Gives Extra Credit to Female Students Who Stop Shaving Legs/Armpits

From a protest at Toronto's Queen's Park

Arizona State University's associate professor of women and gender studies Breanne Fahs offers female students extra credit if they stop shaving their legs and armpits.
It is an experiment for the students to "violate societal norms" and gather reactions from others. For ten weeks, students refrain from shaving and keep a journal of their experiences. Fahs says, "There’s really no reason why the choice to shave, or not, should be a big deal. But it is, as the students tend to find out quickly.”
