WLU apologizes for treatment of graduate student
..."The conversation I heard does not reflect the values and practices to which Laurier aspires," she said in a statement on the Laurier website.
"I am sorry it occurred in the way that it did and I regret the impact it had on Lindsay Shepherd. I will convey my apology to her directly."
Rambukkana also apologized in an open letter.
Shepherd is not impressed.
"It's not like they're heroes," she said.
"It was really their only option" after the barrage of criticism, she said.
Shepherd has received messages of support from all over the world and heard from many angry alumni who said they would stop donating to the university because of the treatment she had received...

Let's break that down:
"I am sorry it occurred in the way that it did"
He's sorry she recorded that meeting and was able to prove her side of what happened at the meeting and even worse went public with this proof.
"I regret the impact it had on Lindsay Shepherd."
He's not retracting anything he or other members said or did before or during the meeting. He's just sorry for the fact that Lindsay was upset by the way she was treated, and in his eyes she should have not been upset.
"I will convey my apology to her directly."
He is more concerned about talking to the press first about this matter than he is on making repairing the relationship with Lindsay. The telling phrase is 'will convey' instead of 'have conveyed'.
The professors are doing as well as can be expected? Really? Oh how nice! Poor babies! Imagine being shown to be a bunch of marxist bullies? Better find a safe space fast, kids.
