Given some of the violence perpetrated by a number of the protesters, these seem to be valid concerns.
They had a rather detailed sexual assault policy in place, which, strangely, did not involve calling the police in the event of a sexual assault.
The protesters must be concerned that the agents of state oppression (police) who are actually trained to investigate and bring charges regarding these offences might not understand the actual causes of sexual assault, which are stated as:
"Sexual assault is rooted in broader systems of oppression such as patriarchy, white supremacy, capitalism, transphobia, homophobia, and colonialism – and is not separable from them in how and why it is perpetrated, experienced and dealt with."I'll bet you never knew that capitalism, transphobia, patriarchy and colonialism etc. were the causes of sexual assault in North America.
One marvels at the delusions under which these people operate.

If these people are all socialists and communists etc. why would they need to explain sexual assault since it doesn't happen in their world.
Or is sexual assault so commonplace that they no longer see what they do as crimminal behaviour.
Or maybe they were put on notice that perhap during the big sleep over at Allen Gardens their predatory behaviour might victimize protesters outside their group.
Truly amazing.
How do they get anything done?
You're an idiot.
I'm an idiot? It's not my fault.
I was raised in a capitalist, colonialist patriarchy, so apparently, there is no such thing as personal responsibility and everything that everyone does is due to our living in a non-Marxist political system and will remain so until the glorious revolution.
Either that, or someone's done a pretty good job of conditioning you, anonymous at 7:34 pm.
