Matthew Lau, a young writer who has been the (credited) source of a number of items in Eye on A Crazy Planet had a recent article that he wrote for the website The Propagandist plagiarized by a Liberal Party staffer.
Even the headlines were identical.
It's good that the Liberal Party is finally taking notice of the important issues Matthew brought up in his article "The Toronto District School Board's plan to decolonize education". The concern would seem more sincere if they actually looked into it themselves rather than just lift someone else's work and try to take credit for it.

TDSB director Chris Spence steps down amid plagiarism scandal
Toronto District School Board director Chris Spence has resigned his post amid a plagiarism scandal that is widening by the minute.
In a statement issued Thursday afternoon, TDSB chair Chris Bolton noted: “Today, I have accepted the resignation of Director of Education Chris Spence from his position with the Toronto District School Board. This resignation is effective immediately.
More dysfunction at the Toronto District School Board
Toronto District School Board director Chris Spence, who has admitted to plagiarizing parts of an opinion piece he submitted in last Sunday’s Toronto Star, appears to have done it before.
Mr. Spence apologized in an open letter posted to the board’s website on Wednesday for failing to “give proper credit” to sources — including a 1989 New York Times story — in the article about the importance of extracurricular sports.
However, the National Post has found several instances in which Mr. Spence seems to have taken information from other articles without crediting them.
