Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto said his lack of sensitivity to America’s perception of prostitution might have caused outrage after his suggestion earlier this week that U.S. troops based in southern Japan should patronize legal adult entertainment establishments to reduce sex crime there.

Hashimoto, co-leader of an emerging nationalist party, also has angered Japan’s neighbours by saying the Japanese military’s wartime practice of forcing Asian women into prostitution was necessary to maintain discipline and provide relaxation for soldiers.

Promoting sex slavery!!??   Gimme good old Rob Ford to this any day of the week!

No More Hiroshimas!

Except for Nagasaki.

Because one atomic bomb wasn't convincing enough to get Imperial Japan to surrender in World War 2.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were tragedies, but necessary tragedies.

The morons who think Hiroshima was a crime that America needs to apologize for should read up on what Imperial Japan did in the years leading up to and during the Second World War.

The Japanese invented the suicide bomber, they had a culture that honored suicide and instilled  that their sacrifice for the God Emperor was more important than their lives.

If the Allies had attempted a ground invasion of Japan, the death toll, on both sides, would have been many times greater than the casualties from the atomic bombs.
