Want to spice up your sex life? There's a Google Glass app for that.

The salaciously titled Sex with Google Glass does just what its name suggests: Strap the spectacles onto your head, turn on the application, and, well, do your thing. All the while, Glass will record and stream the action.

Like any other Google Glass function, the app works with commands—specifically "OK Glass, it's time" when you want to start recording, and "OK Glass, pull out" to end.

I don't know any other city besides Toronto that can make this boast...

I bet your stupid city doesn't have its mayor featured in a hardcore sex tape parody.

OISE professor/Kathleen Wynne advisor arrested on kiddie porn charges

Police have arrested a University of Toronto professor and member of Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s transition team on several charges, including making child pornography.

Benjamin Levin, 61, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of distributing child pornography and one count each of making child pornography, counselling to commit an indictable offence and agreeing to or arranging for a sexual offence against a child under 16.

This disgrace, if true, is only one of the many ways that child abuse is perpetrated at The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

The school that produced Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne usually just sticks to finding ways of screwing with the minds of children, but this latest development is not a great surprise, given the other goings-on there.

There are worse teachers than this and worse problems in the Toronto District School Board,
but the blow job curriculum for 11 year-olds is pretty nuts, even for the TDSB.

The Video the CBC doesn't want you to see

Personally, I'm not offended that the CBC bought some French soft-core porn comedy.  Lots of television, in some cases rather good television, like the Starz Spartacus series, contains graphic sex that would have been considered pornographic until quite recently.

The issue of whether a publicly funded network should broadcast something of this nature is a bit disingenuous. I understand that the material may be offensive, but most of the people objecting to it have never even watched it, other than the brief clips that Sun TV broadcast, and no one is forcing anyone to watch them. I have never seen the programs in question in their entirety, so I cannot possibly comment on their merit, although as a professional in the film industry, I will comment that the clips don't suggest 'high art' or great talent.

Nonetheless, what is startling about the whole affair is that a video juxtaposing the scenes from the racy CBC show with CBC Executive Kirstine Stewart talking about the CBC's values is something that the state broadcaster found so objectionable, it tried to suppress it. The terminology used by CBC's legal counsel was, "Placing Ms. Stewart on the same screen as graphic sex scenes is indefensible morally and legally.”

So remarkably, the CBC was deeply offended that Sun TV had the temerity to show a CBC executive along side a CBC program. Evidently the ability to understand irony is a quality lacking in the Light Entertainment division of the civil service. That accounts for such alleged comedies as Little Mosque on the Prairie, which is about as funny as gangrene.

The CBC went so far as to file a complaint with YouTube to prevent the video from being seen. However, in a small victory for the forces of goodness, blogger Blazing Cat Fur was able to prevail in his counterclaim, and so, in all its glory, here is the video the CBC doesn't want you to see:

What comes to mind when you hear the name "Chesty Morgan"?

A drug called "Charlie Sheen"

Charlie Sheen says he's clean of drugs and alcohol, but high on himself.  

"I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available because if you try it once, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body," the embattled "Two and a Half Men" star said in an interview with ABC News.  

"I woke up and decided, you know, I've been kicked around. I've been criticized. I've been like the, 'Ah, shucks' guy with like this bitchin' rockstar life. And I'm just finally going to completely embrace it, wrap both arms around it, and love it violently. And defend it violently through violent hatred."

Why is rabble.ca obsessed with The National Post's Jonathan Kay being "obsessed" with lesbians?

Our favorite online Marxists today ask the question, Why is Jonathan Kay Obsessed With Lesbians?

On the surface, it seems a rather dimwitted question to which the answer is rather obvious. Kay is a reporter and he is reporting about subjects who frequently, almost incessantly, self-identify as lesbians. In fact, one of the things neither Kay (nor I until now) reported about last night's evening of hate that rabble references, was Jenny Peto's bizarre claim that criticism of her looney tunes, academically inept anti-Jew/anti-Israel screed was based on "homophobia."

One would think the amateur sociologists at rabble, who seem to conform to the official OISE doctrine of collective guilt for "privileged classes", should be asking the question: why is western society obsessed with lesbians? 
 
After all, in every heterosexual porno film, there seems to be at least one lesbian scene, but never a guy-on-guy scene.

Or at least, that’s what I’ve heard about porno, having (ahem) never seen one myself..cough..cough..

Liar or Boob? Noam Chomsky claims he had never heard of Hustler when he gave an interview to Larry Flynt's porn mag

Noam Chomsky must have taken a lot of flack from his regressive allies about a perceived endorsement of pornography by his giving an interview to Hustler magazine in 2004.

Chomsky came out with this after-the fact video in which he claims he "never heard of (sic) the Hustler" though he agreed to being interviewed for it.

Now, some people might not take Chomsky's word on this. Some people might think he's such an incredible media whore that he'd gladly appear anywhere we he could get attention and promulgate his conspiracy theories. They might think he's only backtracking, lying and weaseling out of what he did when the angry leftists of yesteryear took offense at their deity being associated with one of the most graphic, exploitative pornography magazines.

Billions wouldn't, but I for one am prepared to take Chomsky at his word.

His word that in 2004, if he's not lying, means he'd never heard of Hustler Magazine or Larry Flynt.

If he's not lying, it means he never heard of or saw Milos Foreman's 1996 hit movie, The People Vs Larry Flynt, that received Academy Award nominations for Best Actor and Best Director.

It means he never heard of that famous and notorious American magazine, its publisher who survived an assassination attempt that received enormous publicity. He'd never heard of the many news stories about the prosecutions of Flynt and the famous, precedent-setting US Supreme Court decision involving Hustler, Flynt, Moral Majority Founder Jerry Falwell and the protection of First Amendment rights that case enshrined.

If he's not lying, it means he didn't even bother to do the rudimentary due-diligence of a google search of Hustler Magazine to find out by whom he had agreed to be published.

Chomsky very well may be telling the truth.

Because if he's telling the truth, it shows how out of touch Chomsky is, his lack of intellectual rigour, and demonstrates his inattentiveness to basic fact and detail.

That I can believe.

The Father of Gay Zombie Art-Porn has film banned from Australian Film Festival

Bruce LaBruce's Gay zombie porn film, LA Zombie, has been refused classification and effectively banned from the Melbourne International Film Festival.

This is probably the best outcome Canadian director LaBruce could have hoped for. The banning of his film has generated more publicity than the movie itself could have.

I once saw a LaBruce movie at a film festival; its title escapes me, but the content consisted of Gay men thrash dancing, inter-cut with scenes of hard core male pornography, all done to the music of The Carpenters.

LaBruce, made another Gay zombie movie called Otto which premiered at the Sundance festival in 2008.

While I don't find LaBruce's films to be particularly engaging, I do have to salute him for single-handedly creating a new oeuvre of film.

Feminist Constance Penley: Witness for the defense of the "Woody Allen of Porn"

The late U.S. Supreme Court Justice William J. Brennan, wrote, in a dissenting opinion in the Roth case regarding pornography/censorship:

"I would place the responsibility and the right to weed worthless and offensive communications from the public airways where it belongs and where, until today, it resided: in a public free to choose those communications worthy of its attention from a marketplace unsullied by the censor's hand."

Constance Penley is a professor of Film and Media Studies at University of California at Santa Barbara and co-director of the Carsey-Wolf Center for Film, Television, and New Media. Penley specializes in film history and theory, feminist theory, and cultural studies. She is especially well-known on campus for her controversial classes on pornography, where she analyzes the ways in which blue movies play with moral and social taboos.


Penley was slated to be an expert witness in the obscenity trial of pornographer John Stagliano, who faces up to 32 years in jail and $7 million in fines for distributing three adult movies. The judge in Stagliano's case disallowed Penley ..from testifying for the defense.

Reason.tv's Hawk Jensen sat down with Penley to discuss the history of pornography, obscenity laws, and the case against John Stagliano, whom Penley has called "the Woody Allen of porn."
