Michael Coren and Charles McVety debate Ontario's sex education curriculum

My old friend Michael has some rather disparaging things to say about the people opposed to the Sex Ed curriculum for which convicted child pornographer and pedophile Ben Levin served as architect.

He suggests its opponents haven't read it, or are in large measure homophobic.

Here is a critique which shows that's most definitely not always the case.

Michael Coren is dead wrong, but I'll say this: so too is Charles McVety.

It would be good if they could get someone better informed about the proposed Sex Ed curriculum to argue against it. It's not like there aren't plenty.

I suspect the CBC intentionally chooses people like McVety in order to make opposition to it sound uninformed and prejudiced.

That is only because the opposition to it is uninformed and prejudice. McVety was the one who organized the protest. And he could only get so many to attend because he lied about what was in the curriculum.

The curriculum does not cover health issues like the long term effects of contracting an STI (Except HIV), or other harmful diseases. It does not discuss health concerns regarding artificial contraception. It does not talk about how it is illegal for an adult to sexually interfere with a child.
