Hezbollah murders Sunni General in Lebanon - drives country into chaos

The Shite terrorist group Hezbollah used a car bomb to murder Lebanese General Wissam al-Hassan yesterday. A Sunni, al-Hassam was a leader of the investigation that attributed the murder of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri to Hezbollah. In Ottawa in 2010, Hezbollah supporter George Galloway had warned of violent retaliation from his terrorist friends in the wake of that investigation laying blame on them.

Iran-supported Hezbollah is linked to Iranian ally Bashar al-Assad, Syria`s ruler, while the Sunni opposition in Lebanon has sided with rebels trying to unseat the Syrian dictatorship. The murder of al-Hasam, along with the serious injuring of dozens of others in a car bomb attack, has led to the resignation of the Lebanese Cabinet as the conflict in the neighbouring country threatens to create chaos in a fractious Lebanon.

This is the story of a late-twentieth century invention, namely the ostensible moral and intellectual sin of accusations of "guilt by association."

This trope, "guilt by association," or GbA, has a curious history and a curious present. It has the following characteristics:

1) The trope user is almost invariably a self-described person of the "Left," or, in somewhat more modern usage, a "progressive." The target is someone perceived as, or at least designated as someone opposed to the Left, a "right-winger."

2) The trope has a surface resemblance to accusations of established errors of reasoning -- fallacies -- but in fact it is the user of the trope who is illogical and irrational.

3) The accusation underlying the usage of the trope is as much moral as intellectual; the trope user combines a disdain for the ethics and morality of the target (the ostensible bad faith of so-called right-wing McCarthites, for example) with an accusation of intellectual incompetence (failure to understand elementary logic).

4) The trope enables its users, who are often devoted supporters of totalitarian and other hateful movements, to pose as moral and intellectual superiors.

The totalitarian Left decries "Guilt by association."  And yet, if you remember just a few months ago, after the mass murders committed in Norway by the crazed lone gunman Anders Breivik, they were the same people trying to associate his rampage with Christianity, Israel, and any writer who was critical of extremist Islam.  This is far from being the only example of western totalitarian leftist hypocrisy. In the aftermath of the 9-11 terrorist attacks, people like Noam Chomsky and George Galloway came out immediately blaming not the fanatical expression of a religion with which they have allied themselves, but the United States and the West for having angered the Islamists.

Iranian mouthpiece, the disgraced British former MP George Galloway, continues to serve the bidding of his masters in Tehran by trying to deflect blame from Iran's client Hezbollah, which has been indicted in the assassination of Lebanese ex-Prime Minister Hariri.

Parroting his paymasters, he tries to blame Israel for Hariri's killing in the absence of a shred of evidence pointing to that country's involvement.

Today's insane Iranian conspiracy theory

According to Iran's state-controlled PRESS TV, which also employs terrorist mouthpiece George Galloway, Israel is propping up Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi as he tenuously holds on to the last vestages of his dictatorship.

Gaddafi has spent most of his career as a supporter of international terrorism trying to murder Israelis and Americans, (as well as Libyans who dissented from his autocratic rule), so the likelihood of Israeli support is nil. One wonders who are the bigger idiots in Iran, the demeted morons who create these absurd tales or the propaganda-fed slobs who actually might belive them.

Is the NDP's Joe Comartin getting his talking points from British demagogue George Galloway?





George Galloway spent a good deal of the introduction to his speech at the York Region Islamic Society on November 20 praising NDP MP Joe Comartin.

Comartin applauded proudly beside the defeated British ex-parliamentarian,  then took his rightful place behind the demagogue on the stage as Galloway launched into his familiar narcissistic diatribe about being persecuted by the Canadian government and Jason Kenney and a lot of other unoriginal babble that he has been giving in just about every speech he's delivered for the last 5 years.

But one of the rare new twists he provided was his extended extolment of Joe Comartin, Galloway's favorite man in Ottawa. Is it a surprise that Comartin is now calling for the Federal government to restore funding for the discredited anti-Israel group KAIROS?

And who else is Comartin consorting with? None other than "brother" Zafar Bangash.

Bangesh is an Islamic movement journalist and commentator notable for his desire to exclude school children from learning anything about homosexuality, his admiration for Iranian pedophile Ayatollah Khomenei, and shares his idol's belief that America is "The Great Satan." Bangash is also known as "the Helen Thomas of York Region" who said Israeli Jews should "go back where they came from:the US, Canada Europe, Russia, or whoever is willing to take them in."

A question for the voters of Windsor - Tecumseh is whether they want their parliamentary representative to be someone so closely associated with a bigot and a supplier of funds to a terror group.

Hamas-supporting Galloway fans plan insult to Jewish community

As if the Toronto presence of Gerorge Galloway, the supporter of Hamas terror, wasn't enough of an insult to the local Jewish community, his fanatical supporters have decided that the best place in all of downtown to assemble is right beside the Jewish Community Centre.

Galloway is going to speak at the Islamic Society of York Region tomorrow at 5:30 and his supporters who are travelling from downtown have been told:

"Assemble at 720 Spadina Avenue (west side of Spadina, south of Bloor) at 4:30 p.m.
Bus will depart downtown Toronto at 4:45 p.m. Bus will return to same location at 10:00 p.m."

That address is on the same block and only about a dozen yards south of the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre at Bloor and Spadina. Of all the places in the many square miles of downtown Toronto, they chose the same block as the largest Jewish centre in the old city of Toronto.

The insulting selection of assembly point re-inforces the idea that Galloway's supporters are not just opposed to the idea of Israel, but want to seek every opportunity  to insult as many Jews as they can.

George Galloway: What he lacks in credibility, he more than makes up for in desperation

Former British MP George Galloway, has been accused of embezzling funds from the Iraqi Oil-for-Food program,  has provided material support to the terror group Hamas in the form of cash and vehicles, and  notoriously gave a bizarre, gag-inducing impersonation of a cat lapping cream from the hands of Rula Lenska. (Ms. Lenska may be best remembered by North Americans for some hair spray commercials in the 1970's that became a running gag for Johnny Carson).




Galloway was in Canada this weekend providing his usual self-aggrandizing tripe and condemnation of western interests along with his grovelling subservience to his new employer, Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Galloway had cancelled an earlier trip to Canada after having learned that he was likely to be refused entry based on his terrorist-associations.

Galloway is now threatening to sue Canadian Immigration Minister Jason Kenney for slander.

The response from Alikhan Velshi, Jason Kenney's spokesman was:

Galloway's “last publicity stunt involved him wearing a skin-tight red leotard on Celebrity Big Brother, and then pretending to be a cat licking milk from the palms of a B-list celebrity.”
