Feds free slaves held at Saudi diplomatic compound in Virginia

MCLEAN, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Saudi diplomatic compound in McLean is now the center of a possible human trafficking case.
The details are scarce, but what little is known is certainly bizarre. On the 6000 block of Orris street in McLean is the mansion, said to be home of the Saudi military attaché.
It was raided yesterday by federal agents from homeland security investigations and ICE. It was at this compound that federal agents claim to have rescued two women.

Financial Post's Lawrence Solomon praises bloggers for telling the truth about Global Warming

The world would have to drastically realign its outlook if the three countries with the world's largest oil deposits were the United States, China and Israel. That realigned world may be ours in less than a decade if new technologies can fulfil expectations of exploiting known oil shale deposits.

At the Advocates for Civil Liberties' Canada and the New Middle East conference last week, Financial Post columnist Lawrence Solomon discussed the amazing possibilities presented by newly developed technology that can produce fuel from oil shale at $40 per barrel. Within as little as five years, these deposits may be fully actualized, meaning energy self-sufficiency and profits for countries like the US and China, which have the world's largest and second largest identified oil shale deposits. For countries like Israel that ranks 3rd with it' deposits amounting to as much as 500 billion barrels, there is the potential to become one of the world's major petroleum exporters.

The result would be a massive shake up of the Middle East's geo-political reality. Oil prices would likely plummet, and middle eastern countries ruled by despots propped up by oil revenues would see their economies collapse along with those nations' social cohesion.

Islamist terror is for the most part funded by oil revenue, particularly in the case of Saudi Arabia. In a unsavoury deal between two devils, Saudi Sheiks fund Wahhabi Islamic extremism abroad as a form of protection pay-off that sees their rule at home face little challenge. Iran uses its petro-dollars to fund its Revolutionary Guard Corps that brutalize the domestic population and proxies like Hamas and Hezbollah who engage in terrorist activities throughout the middle east and Latin America.

If oil shale from the US, Canada, which also has major deposits, and other free countries becomes a major source of energy and revenue, it would see the leaders of countries like Venezuela and Iran without the means to stir up trouble outside their borders, while having to face new ones within them.

The new reality posed by this development makes it all the more clear why environmental groups are so closely aligned with groups who advocate for Iran and are so sympathetic to Islamists. They have common interest in trying to sabotage the West's ability to achieve energy independence.

One of the interesting aspects that the Financial Post's Solomon observed is that while much of Global Warming alarmism is a sham, you would never know that from reading most mainstream media, like Canada's most popular dailies the Globe and Mail and Toronto Star. If one had to rely exclusively on those media, one might not realize that there are as many climate scientists (as opposed to fruit fly geneticists) who disagree as agree with the theory that global warming is the result of human activity.

Solomon noted that it is actually through blogs that the most accurate and balanced information about Global Warming science is available. It must be that bloggers are less intimidated by the prospect of falling into disfavour from the likes of Al Gore and David Suzuki. Of course, bloggers generally have less to lose, as they are already unlikely to receive invitations to caviar and champagne parties at Sundance, so the threat of having them withdrawn is not particularly intimidating.

Islamist website Canadian Charger reports North American Muslim Foundation Director has never heard of Iran, Pakistan or Saudi Arabia

"Mr. Levant cites comments by Imam Abdullah Hakim Quick – an honoured guest in a recent series of lectures at NAMF – as an example of extremist views being propagated by NAMF.
Mr. Khan agrees that Imam Quick said that Islam's position on homosexuality is that they should be put to death, but Mr. Khan said Imam Quick's remarks were taken out of context. He said he was responding to a question as to what would be the punishment in an Islamic state, and Mr. Khan added that there are no Islamic states in the world today. "

The excerpt above is from Islamist, 9-11 conspiracist website, The Canadian Charger, founded by former Canadian Islamic Congress President Mohamed Elmasry, that was contained in an article meant to slam author and Sun TV host, Ezra Levant.

In the Canadian Charger report titled, Ezra Levant smears Islam and Muslims, North American Muslim Foundation Director Farooq Khan was attempting to deny Levant's accusation that his organization spreads hate. If The Canadian Charger's account is accurate, then it not only confirmed Levant's contention, but made Khan look like a disingenuous ignoramus in the process.

One of the good things about telling the truth is that you don't have to keep track of your lies.

Anyone who reads a newspaper knows that there indeed are Islamic states in the world today. They even have "Islamic" in their countries' official names, such as The Islamic Republic of Iran and Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It is bizarre that the director of the NAMF would claim such countries don't exist. But then, anyone with experience with a certain type of arrogance knows that when some people are caught in a difficult situation, they will say anything that pops in their head, no matter how incredible.

But there is something even more insidious about the dishonesty of Farooq Khan and the enablers and apologists at The Canadian Charger, who want to defend hate by trying to label those who expose it as "Islamophobes." The fact is that the state-killing of Gays in Islamic countries is not hypothetical. It is tragically real and ongoing.

Islamic republics and countries where Islamic laws are in place, such as Yemen, Sudan and Saudi Arabia still maintain the death penalty against people whose only crime is their sexual orientation. Iran has executed at least 4000 people for homosexuality since the Khomeini Revolution in 1979.

By lying about and denying the genuine homophobia in Islamic states, The North American Muslim Society and The Canadian Charger not only mangle what little credibility they may have, but perpetuate prejudice against Gays in Muslim communities and Islamic countries by failing to address its reality.

The Globe and Mail's Patrick Martin is a failure at understanding world events

The Saudi leadership was humiliated at the news of a woman being sentenced to lashing for the "crime" of driving a car earlier this week. That story made headlines all over the world and was being used as another stick to castigate the Gulf monarchy's medieval rule.

King Abdullah reversed the sentence for an obvious reason. Because it being publicized was an embarrassment. Not because of some trend towards liberalization going on in the Wahhabi kingdom.

But you wouldn't know that from reading Patrick Martin in the Globe and Mail. Martin seems to view his role as a columnist as being a press agent for terrorists and tyrants. Prosecuting and beating a woman for driving is a gross violation of human rights, and a minor act of clemency for an infraction that the civilized world was mocking is described by Martin as an indication of  "just how serious the Saudi ruler is about enhancing the civil rights of women in the Kingdom."  Or it could be an indication of how serious the Saudi ruler is about trying not to look bad in the international press, and it's a good thing he has boosters like Patrick Martin to help spread that message.

This comes in the wake of the Saudi leadership giving women minor enfranchisement privileges. Yet the Globe and Mail didn`t seem to have much to say about how that move came only a couple of weeks after Saudi embarrassment over the exposure of how they tried to suppress `Ethical Oil` ads which highlighted the abusive, unfair treatment of women in Saudi Arabia.

The one thing that keeps the Saudi rulers in place is the wealth they derive from oil, and Canada illustrating how their product is the equivalent of `fair trade`` petroleum was bad for Saudi business.

That`s what is going on in Saudi Arabia right now - not a blossoming of a women`s rights movement but some press releases by one of the world`s largest oil producers.

This is not the first time Martin has acted as an apologist for the worst elements in the world. In a`radio interview in which he discussed a Globe and Mail series on Gaza a few months ago, Martin dismissed Hamas rocket attacks on Israel as being `firecrackers.` This vapid, hypocritical comment shows the level of analysis Canada`s``national newspaper` is giving its readers. Or if I`m wrong, Martin might be willing to demonstrate it by standing in a room while a few of those `firecrackers`that can level a house are lobbed in his direction. I wouldn`t bet on him volunteering for that any time soon.

Help Lush Cosmetics ruin the Canadian economy and vilify Israel

In another example of loony radicals biting the hand that feeds it, British cosmetic manufacturer and retailer, Lush, which has branches all over the world, including Canada, wants to hurt Canada's economy with its campaign to stop the Alberta Tar Sands development.

As Ezra Levant's book Ethical Oil outlines, the Alberta Tar sands is one of the most ethical producers of fossil fuel in the world. Despite the pretense to "ethics" by Lush, they have no problem operating a branch in Saudi Arabia, where oil revenues have been used to finance international terrorism and the oppression of women.

Lush is also involved in a dishonest, fanatical campaign to vilify the only liberal democracy in the middle east, while pocketing money from repressive states, including one that killed more people who were part of an ethnic independence movement in one year than the total number of Palestinian fatalities since Israel conquered the West Bank and Gaza in 1967.

Hypocrisy is an expected facet of these types of fanatics, but Canadians should know better than to finance their destructive campaigns.

There are Lush stores across Canada, including Alberta, a province whose economy they are trying to devastate. Canadians would do well to buy their cosmetics elsewhere.

Oil Vey! Israel to become the new Saudi Arabia??

A huge shale oil discovery in Israel rivals the deposits in Saudi Arabia. The geopolitical ramifications are immense if the Jewish state becomes a major player in the energy market.

You'll never guess who's working for Mossad now!

First it was the Mossad Shark, when paranoid Arab fanatics blamed shark attacks in the Red Sea on Israel..

Now the Mossad Vulture?!? A tagged vulture, part of an avian study at Tel Aviv University, flew into Saudi Arabia and was promptly arrested as a spy. Maybe a prisoner exchange for Joe the Camel can be arranged.

I guess we know who's working for Israel's spy agency now. I should have realized they were part of the Zionist conspiracy!

Bet you never knew Tarzan's last name was Leibowitz
Mossad's top shark handler
Assistant Director and Director of Mossad's Avian Bureau conferring before Parliamentary hearing

Sky News thinks this might be the new head of Mossad

UPDATE: James Bond is part of the Zionist plot too..

Some comedy from the UN "Human Rights" Council

Some of the worst human rights abusers in the world share their thoughts:

IRAN

"It is my honor to represent a country whose respect for women and the dignity of women is rooted in its ideological beliefs and cultural past... [However, there is] persisting and rife discrimination and violence against women, in particular, in France, Norway, Slovakia, Sweden, Luxembourg and Ireland."

SYRIA

"There are certain situations where women's physical make-up must be taken into consideration when enacting laws. Women, [it] must not be imposed on them certain heavy work, such as working in mines and other hard labor."

SAUDI ARABIA

"Islamic Sharia has granted women the same rights as men on the basis of principle."
