In his own words - the dismissal of the deportation case against Mosab Hassan Yousef

Mosab Hassan Yousef, author of Son of Hamas, was subject to deportation hearings in the US, ironically, for his connection to Hamas.

Yousef, disillusioned by Hamas' murderous methods and fanatical ideology that was focused on the destruction of Israel, became, at the risk of his life an informant for the Israeli intelligence service, Shim Bet.

Yousef's own take on the story via Blazing Cat Fur.

The story of a hero and a refugee

Michael Ross' column in the National Post today tells about the danger faced by Mosab Hassan Yousef, the son of one of the founders of the Palestinian terror group, Hamas.

His conscience called Yousef to renounce the remorseless violence of Hamas and their opposition to peace with Israel. He became a spy for Israel and in the process saved many innocent lives.

Yousef is seeking asylum in the US, but in a bitter twist of irony, has been rejected because of his prior affiliation with Hamas.

His case is under appeal, but he needs support.

UPDATE: 8:02 PM - Good News! The US Government has ceased deportation proceedings against Mosab Yousef.
