EYE ON A CRAZY PLANET
Meir Weinstein's claim that the reference to terrorism and the JDL comes from a "leaked memo" which is the "personal opinion of an FBI agent" is false. In fact, the reference comes from an official FBI report called Terrorism 2000/2001 which says, among other things, that "The Jewish Defense League has been deemed a right-wing terrorist group." Go do a word search for "Jewish Defense League" (US spelling) at http://www.fbi.gov/stats-services/publications/terror/terrorism-2000-2001/?searchterm=JDL
You've conflated the JDL in the US with the Canadian JDL, which is a different organization and is not considered a terrorist group in Canada.
so why then did Meir lie when he was talking about the FBI and why has he never disavowed Meir Kahane, Irv Rubin or the US JDL? Why has he never renounced his support former support for Kach which is on the Canadian terrorist list and which Weinstein was North American spokesperson for in the 90s?
Well that's an interesting McCarthyist argument to try to establish guilt. Shall we go through the lists of everything some people haven't renounced in order to "prove" that they must therefore support it?Here's a thought: why don't you find where the JDL have actually advocated political violence in Canada to try to prove they're really terrorists. Until you can do that, you don't have a leg to stand on.
