Outrage over a rodeo clown’s masked performance as President Barack Obama at the Missouri State Fair spilled into Tuesday as the president of the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association announced his resignation.

An attorney for rodeo announcer Mark Ficken said that his resignation from the group is not an acknowledgment of wrongdoing on his part but rather a protest that the association has not banned the rodeo clown from its membership.

SAN FRANCISCO—Billionaire inventor Elon Musk unveiled plans Monday for what he has dubbed the Hyperloop, a futuristic solar-powered vehicle that promises to zip people between cities at near sonic speeds.

Whether one ever gets built is a separate question.

In a first draft of his plan posted online, 42-year-old Mr. Musk outlined how such a high-speed service could work. Unlike traditional trains, the Hyperloop would feature a tube suspended aboveground on top of pylons. Inside the tube, pods with electric compressor fans would move back and forth in a low pressure environment, gliding atop a cushion of air. Mr. Musk said he was interested in building a prototype.

Failed mayoral and provincial Liberal canidate Sarah Thomson has written this week about a fatasized sexual encounter with Toronto's mayor Rob Ford.

I'm not kidding.

The same Rob Ford she publicly accused of groping her posterior, despite eyewitnesses who claimed not only was she lying, but that she boasted she intended to "set up" the mayor.

In the most recent volume of her publication Thomson wrote:

" I kept telling myself he’s an addict have sympathy. The next thing I knew his hand was on my butt.... I turned back to him and he had the same salacious grin on his face I’d seen once before. All the worries I’d felt then came rushing back to me.  What if a video of it appeared online? Would it look like I “liked” it. I was after all smiling for the camera’s. How would the press spin it? Would they frame it as a secret tryst between us? " 

Woodrow Wilson once said, `I  have always been among those who believed the greatest freedom of speech was the greatest safety, because if a man is a fool, the best thing to do is to encourage him to advertise the fact by speaking."

Thomson titled her fantasy piece My nightmare about Toronto's mayor.

A worse nightmare would be in the horrible author of that piece were ever to have a position of authority over other people. Thank God voters have seen enough sense to keep that nightmare from happening.

It's a hot, sweaty, August night at Toronto's Taste of the Danforth Greek Festival.

Toronto's mayor Rob Ford turns up to mingle with regular citizens has a couple of beers while 'letting his hair down.'

Despite the dishonest portrayal of him by the left-wing media that despises him, when Ford goes out in public, he is usually swarmed like a movie star by adoring citizens who want their photos taken with the mayor.

That happened, as usual, this week and in a video that just surfaced, Ford talks to a man n front of him about `the stink.`` Ford then asks `you want some cologne?"

Now spurious reports are emerging that Ford asked "you want some blow (i.e cocaine)? The ever-desperate and idiotic looking Toronto Star, in a column by Rosie di Manno, suggests that Ford asked "you want some bone/"

Di Manno, whose intimate knowledge of crack cocaine slang is evidently better than mine, professes that "bone" is slang for that drug.  The distinct 'c' at the beginning of the word "cologne' is unmistakably different tan a "b" sound. Eventually, as if bragging that paying basic attention is some thorough investigation by assiduous, conscientious  Toronto Star investigators, she gets around to writing:

"when the Star enhanced the audio, it became clearer what Ford is actually saying. Well, not entirely clear, but — after repeating “I’m not driving,” as if to reassure there’s no risk of another DUI on this evening — the mayor mutters something about “stink.” I can’t definitely make out if Ford is referring to himself or the photo-seeker standing close. He says: “Give me some cologne. You want some cologne? I’ll give you some cologne.”

Here's the video, and anyone with reasonable hearing can make out what Ford said.



Ford has been an exemplary mayor when it comes to protecting the interests of the City's taxpayers. He hasn't been using the citizens of Toronto as Guinea pigs in a socialist social experiment as predecessor did with the enthusiastic support of the left wing media..

The continuing popularity of Ford, despite their histrionic vendetta against him, burns deep and painfully in the wretched hearts of the Toronto Star's 'brain trust'. So any opportunity to rail against him is a piece of rancid cheese leaped upon by starving rats.

While not the psychiatric definition, there is a point to the bromide, "insanity is repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results." With the abysmal failure by The Star every time they have tried to malign Ford, it has become obvious that its writers' addiction to making themselves look idiotic in their pathological invective is worse than anything of which they have accused Rob Ford.

Study examines beliefs about who should pay for dates

...The paper, "Who Pays for Dates? Following versus Challenging Conventional Gender Norms," contains survey data from more than 17,000 participants; a quarter of whom also provided written commentaries to explain their beliefs and actions regarding paying for dates.

"The motivation for the study was to understand why some gendered practices are more resistant to change than others; for example, the acceptance of women in the workplace versus holding onto traditional notions of chivalry," Frederick, who co-authored the study, said in a statement.

The paper says 84% of men and 58% of women reported that men pay for most expenses, even after dating for a while. Over 57 % of women claimed they offered to help pay, but 39% confessed they hoped men would reject their offers to pay, and 44% of women were bothered when men expected women to help pay.

There is no other logical way of interpreting "we have been negotiating with them for 65 years. We say, ‘Get out or you are dead.’ We give them two minutes and then we start shooting, and that’s the only way they’ll understand.”

Sixtty-five years ago was 1948, the year the modern State of Israel came into existence. The initial round of negotiations to which Hazineh referred was the attack of the armies of Arab nations that tried to "drive the Jews into the sea." Though unsuccessful in that and subsequent attempts, that dream has not gone away for Hazineh and the other al Quds fanatics who dream of the death of every Jew in Israel.

"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" is the chant they routinely wail at such protests.

A slogan repeated by the genocidal maniac Hassan Nassrallah last week, the flags of whose terror organization, Hezbollah, were held high by Toronto al Quds demonstrators while Elias Hazineh delivered a similar message.

Israel is the freest country in the Middle East, the only one with equal rights for women and gays and where no one is persecuted for their religious beliefs.

So when they say "free" what they mean is "free of Jews."

Hazineh was a close consort and employee of the former long-time Liberal MP Carolyn Parrish. He was the president of a Palestine advocacy organization called Palestine House that lost its federal funding because of its support for extremism. That organization proclaimed how unfair then Citizenship Minister Jason Kenney was in depriving them of funds. Hazineh, whose rhetoric is typical of that inside the doors of Palestine House, showed them for what they are; murderous-minded fanatics.

The man who tried to incite the murder of Israel Jews is also close with one of Justin Trudeau's advisers. The same Justin Trudeau who thinks that Canada should engage more with the genocidal mullahs in Iran. The same Justin Trudeau whose senior policy adviser, his brother, partnered with that murderous regime to make a propaganda film.

While Hazineh is an obviously despicable individual, what is of more concern is how people like him will be influencing public policy if Justin Trudeau should ever reach a position of power.

Nova Scotia’s awful cyber abuse law makes bullies of us all

Someone feels that you’re cyberbullying them. They visit or phone the court and request a protection order against you (minors , for some reason, cannot do so, only adults). A judge decides if their claim meets the law’s definition. The definition of cyberbullying, in this particular bill, includes “any electronic communication” that ”ought reasonably be expected” to “humiliate” another person, or harm their “emotional well-being, self-esteem or reputation.”

If this is the standard, I don’t know a person who isn’t a cyberbully.

Housewives' advocacy group mad at Canadian Foreign Minister speaking out about about Gay Rights

John Baird

REAL Women of Canada  is essentially a housewives' advocacy group that's view of women appears to have been frozen in time somewhere around 1958. The group's spokeswoman is upset that Canada's Foreign Minister John Baird is an outspoken advocate for Gay Rights abroad.

Gays face persecution in countries like Iran and most of the Muslim Middle East as well as in Uganda and Russia. That persecution often comes in the form of physical violence and imprisonment and torture.

I met John Baird a couple of years ago at the Munk Debates; he's a very decent guy. Under Baird's leadership, Canada has become a leader in global human rights advocacy. But for REAL Women, some humans aren't particularly important.

One of the commonly stated objections I've noted from some hard-core social conservatives to Baird's forthright condemnation of  mistreatment of Gays in Russia is that "we have no right to tell another country what is should do within its own borders."

Funnily, I've never heard a conservative of any sort make the same complaint when Baird (very commendably)  has forcefully spoken out about the mistreatment of Christians in Muslim countries including Pakistan and Egypt.

This is what REAL Women want to do, 

 and those damn Gays aren't going to pay for them to do it!

Many, many dear friends of mine are conservatives.  This attention-seeking ploy by REAL Women is something they should shun like the plague. REAL Women's attack on Baird makes them look every bit the caricature of the narrow-minded, hypocritical bigots that the far left would like to deceitfully tar everyone who thinks a 98% tax rate is unreasonable.

From the perspective of REAL Women, it's understandable they are distraught about homosexuals and Gay Rights. After all, if men can marry each other, who is going to pay for REAL Women to sit around the house eating bon bons and popping out children?

Looks like REAL Women will have to up their game and make sure they can pull in husbands who can keep them in the style to which they hope to become accustomed. Or they could stop being idiots and get a job.

Warren Kinsella: CTRC ruling gave Sun News what it wanted

.... (Sun News Network) got what it wanted. Here’s three reasons why:

1. The CRTC decision will ultimately create a new category of licences for Canadian all-news channels, like the ones found on CTV and CBC as well as SNN.  It’s asking for public comment on all that, sure.  But the CRTC decision will force cable companies to offer all Canadian national news services, including SNN.  That’s parity.
2. The CRTC’s clever plan will put all these news services in close proximity on your TV dial.  It will also put all national news services – CTV and CBC included – in a package.  And it’ll force cable companies to offer it.  That’s placement.
3. The CRTC will put Canadian news channels – you know, Sun News, CTV News Channel and CBC News Network – on a higher priority footing than foreign-owned news channels, like CNN or Al Jazeera.  That’s the patriotism part: it’s dumb to give more to foreign-owned networks than all-Canadian ones.  So the CRTC’s changing that.

Sun News denied mandatory carriage but network may survive with CRTC's proposed new approach to national news services

Sun News Network was denied a controversial application before the CRTC for mandatory carriage on Thursday. The application would have forced the news channel on to every cable package in Canada, and ensured its survival.

Instead, the CRTC “approved two new services for mandatory distribution on the basic service of all distributors in the country, and one service for mandatory distribution on the basic service of satellite companies in Nunavut and the Northwest Territories.”

The future of Sun News Network is not clear. In the past, they’ve called this decision a “do or die” moment and that a denial of their application would be a “death sentence.”

But, in fact, the CRTC announcement on Thursday is not all bad news for Sun News Network.

Moral Imbecile Linda McQuaig running for NDP nomination in Toronto Centre

Linda McQuaig is something worse than just a moral relativist. She's a moral imbecile. Yesterday the sometime Toronto Star columnist declared her intent to bring her vacuity and hyperbolic peevishness to Canada's House of Commons on behalf of the New Democratic Party.

The riding's Parliamentary seat was recently left vacant by the retirement of former Liberal Party leader Bob Rae.

McQuaig is an ideologue who has campaigned against outlooks outside her narrow reasoning being taught at the University of Toronto. As the author of The Trouble with Billionaires, McQuaig presents a caricature of billionaires, suggesting that she knows very few, if any of them and even less about how they operate. One can envision vapid Occupy Wall Street-type rhetoric given a voice on Parliament Hill in the unlikely event McQuaig should be elected.

Her understanding of economics is predicated on her only looking for data that substantiates her polemical ideology. She bases her arguments on economics on the post-World War 2 growth period and attributing the economic success of those times to high tax rates while effectively discounting  the myriad of other factors that played a greater role.

But in that she only demonstrates a tremendous lack of insight. It is her lack of human decency that is far more troubling.

In 2010, nine Turkish activists attempting to break Israel's blockade of the Gaza strip were killed when they, along with a mob, attacked Israeli troops attempting to board the Mavi Marmara. 

That ship was the largest of seven boats in a small flotilla attempting to break a sea blockade of Gaza that was intercepted by Israel. The blockade is in place to prevent arms smuggling to Gaza, which is controlled by the terror group Hamas. Gaza is the world's largest per-capita recipient of aid and has one of the highest obesity rates on Earth.

There were no casualties on any of the other ships and the Mavi Marmara was the only one in which activists attacked the Israelis. The activists were part of a Turkish group called IHH that has known links to terror organizations. It's members who attacked the Israeli soldiers were self-declared jihadis who had expressed their desire for martyrdom.

At the time of that event, McQuaig equated those killings to that of Leon Klinghoffer by Palestinian terrorists. Klinghoffer was a helpless, innocent wheelchair-bound civilian travelling on a pleasure craft,  Achile Lauro, that was hijacked. He was murdered in cold blood by terrorists for no other reason than for being a Jew.

"There is a compelling need for a serious, UN-mandated investigation of these killings, which are as horrific as the killing on the Achille Lauro," wrote McQuaig.

Only a reprehensible moral imbecile could possibly equate his callous murder to the chaotic attempts at self-defense by a handful of Israeli commandos who were attacked and overwhelmed by dozens of knife and pipe wielding jihadist thugs.

Linda McQuaig is that reprehensible moral imbecile who wants to make her loathsome perspectives the voice of the Toronto Centre riding and the New Democratic Party of Canada.

Given some of the other voices in the NDP,  it would be shameful, but no great shock if she were successful.

Muslim leader speaks out about Liberal leader Justin Trudeau consorting with Islamists

Salim Ahmad: The problem can be summarized very simply. Justin Trudeau was consorting with those who seek the destruction of Western civilization as a long-term goal of international Islamism, as reflected in the works of Syed Qutb of the Arab Muslim Brotherhood and Syed Maududi in the Indo-Pakistani Jamaat-e-Islami.

The Sapphires cover ain't racist or sexist - it's just normal movie marketing

A moronic tempest in a teapot has been whipped up over the cover of the recently released DVD for the movie The Sapphires.

The film is the based-on-a-true story account of a 1960's pop group made up of aboriginal women.

The brouhaha is all about the alleged "racism and sexism" of the photo on the cover having the women in the background with the movie's star Chris O'Dowd getting the most exposure.

Except it isn't racism or sexism. It's marketing. You always put the biggest name in the movie up front.

Chris O'Dowd may not have the fame of Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise, but he is a well known star of such films as Bridesmaids and the current HBO hit series Family Tree.

The rest of the cast are complete unknowns.

The Sapphires cover controversy is not one sparked by racism but is more a case of narcissistic, self-serving, attention-seeking faux outrage. There are real instances of racism and sexism in the world. To diminish them with nonsense like this is as tiresome as it is facile.

A quick note on the genocidal Khomeinist al Quds hatefest in Toronto

Something that has been casually noted, but really should be highlighted about the al Quds Day hatefest is the murderous intent of eliminating Israeli Jews that took front-and-center stage at the rally.

What was less noticed was his declaration that "We've (Palestinians) been negotiating with them for sixty-five years!"

Sixty five years ago was the year 1948, the year of the State of Israel's birth. It is to that nation and the Jews within it to which Hazineh referred when he continued, "we say 'get out or you're dead!'"

This is the face and the words of the murderous Khomeinists, joined by useful idiots from groups like the so-called Canadian Peace Alliance and the inbred cult of apocalyptic, anti-Zionist Jews, Neutrei Karta.

Their bile and stupidity makes them self-discrediting. But forgetting to shine a light on their evil wil only let it grow, and in that regard, Canada`s mainstream news organizations, with the exception of Sun News, have displayed their own shameful negligence.

The need for massive reform in the role of Unions

The rationale that led to the creation of unions hasn't gone away.

For those of us who have been employees, at one point or another, we've been in a job where the boss was an absolute piece of shit. One of those wretches who is not only stupid and unreasonable, but compounds the misery of having to answer to them by demonstrating the pleasure they take in exercising authority over other people.

There is nothing more soul-crushing than being a parent with a family to feed and enduring the feeling of being trapped in such conditions.

Situations like that are among the reasons why unions emerged and why they continue to play a valid, valuable role in the workplace.

If protecting the rights of workers what what unions did, then there would be little reason to argue against them. But in 2013,the people who run the unions, the union bosses, have ventured into areas which make them more reprehensible than anything the most sadistic employer and vile corporation would dream of.

Bringing to life caricatures of the pig Napoleon from Orwell's Animal Farm, reveling in their puffed-up pomposity, union bosses are bolstered by control over cash culled from workers' paychecks that they use to promote their own petty tyrannies.

Canadian public service unions, including CUPE, CUPW (Postal Workers) and OPSEU have poured money into causes like the racist Occupy protests, degenerate support for the terrorist government in Gaza, and support missions to show Communist solidarity with the totalitarian dictator Fidel Castro.Other unions, like the United Steelworkers and The Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation, have used dues paid by their members to subsidize the website rabble.ca which is the media voice of the anti-Semitic, so-called "Israel Apartheid Week" and has produced depraved videos comparing Canada's Prime Minister to Adolf Hitler.

Very few union members want their funds diverted away from workplace issues to promote the deplorable ideological tyrannies of the union bosses. Most don't even know their funds are used for such purposes, because the union bosses don't tell the workers how their dues money is spent.

A few months ago. some rouge Senators derailed Bill C-377, which would have forced the unions to tell the workers how the use their dues. Perhaps the unelected patronage appointees of the Canadian Senate felt solidarity with sleazy union bosses as the two share a resistance towards being held accountable for their inflated, self-serving expenditures.

Members of Parliament have said they will reintroduce the union accountability Bill in the future.  The Senate should take care if it hopes to sabotage the Bill again, since their obstructionism highlights the corruption in both institutions.

Toronto's al Quds Day demonstration makes the case for immigration reform

A large, dark, toxic slug snaked its way along a few blocks of Toronto's University Avenue yesterday afternoon. It had six hundred or so moving parts, each one steaming with hateful bile. It was the annual Al Quds Day march from Queens Park to the American consulate.

Brandishing the flag of the genocidal terror group Hezbollah, while bellowing  "Down with U.S.A." and "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" the display seemed better suited to the streets of Tehran than the quiet, dignified edifices of Toronto's hospital district. Indeed it was from Tehran where the insidious virus came. Al Quds Day is a creation of the deceased pedophile, Ayatollah Khomeini who intended it to rally Muslims around the world to the cause of the destruction of Israel. The throng of demonstrators in Toronto were, with the exception of a tiny handful of their useful idiot acolytes, all devout followers of that murderous, depraved Iranian dictator.

The march, plunging through the midday August heat, was divided into two sections. Led by the head-to-toe covered women's, or "sisters" section, they were followed by the dingy, Autumn-colored sweater-wearing "brothers" with enough of a spacing so that modesty would be protected from their hyperactive sexual turgidity, 

The attendees and the signs they bore were identical to Toronto's al Quds Day demonstrations of the last three years, though this year's numbers were fewer, in part due to Ontario's Sergeant-at-Arms cancelling the Khomeinists' permit to assemble on the lawn of the legislature.  So instead they chose to gather in the treed park behind Ontario's Parliament.

Though slightly muted from previous years' fiercer invective, there were still speakers who tried to incite the murder of Jews, including one who proclaimed "we will give them two minutes and then we'll start shooting!" One of the useful idiots, a paranoid shill for Iran named Ken Stone, compared Ontario's Premier Kathleen Wynne to Adolf Hitler because of the cancellation of the Queen's Park permit over security concerns. In the mind of the bizarre Munchausen Jew Mr. Stone, saying the exact same words in a public space approximately 60 yards away from where they had originally intended is evidently the imposition of some sort of fascist regime. 

Ironically, the same Mr. Stone is a proponent of the most brutal, fascist regime on earth, the one in Iran which routinely rapes, murders, and tortures prisoners, and persecutes religious minorities.

Some of the speakers dissembled about wanting a one state solution with equal rights for all. The part they often leave out was the part that rally organizer Zafar Bangash has previously proclaimed, that such "equal rights" would be under Islamic Sharia law. As proponents of the Iranian dictatorship, the equality these people have in mind is the equal right for women to be raped by their prison guards as a matter of policy, the equal right of women to be publicly beaten for wearing "immodest clothing, " the equal right of women to be stoned for committing adultery, the equal right to be beheaded for blaspheming against Islam's founder Mohammed, and the equal right, shared by Baha'i in Iran, to be viciously persecuted for their religious beliefs that conflict with traditional Islamic practice.

The al Quds demonstrators are not typical of Canadian Muslims. It is from such people at the al Quds Day demo, and the regimes they represent, that most Muslims in Canada came to escape. 

But due to a failing in our immigration system that clearly needs to be rectified, we have allowed these murderous fanatics to live among us. Here, in the safety of Canada, they try to find a way to incubate and spread their vile hatred of our society, which they have come to simultaneously denounce, undermine and exploit.

These Khomeinists are the people who have brought the despicable ideologies which teach bigotry in their schools. The product of such horrific indoctrination was in full display yesterday as a young boy was trotted out to speak. Nursed on the malice and prejudice that are articles of faith for Islamists, he displayed the result that comes from being reared by hatemongers.  

He passionately recited biases with which he has been conditioned from birth.

It is critical that people see this. The fatuous, politically-correct mainstream media, feeling that exposing the truth would inflame prejudice, become complicit with hatemongers by selectively ignoring their invective and trying to portray them in a favorable light. That is why the Khomeinists demonstrate such hate for Canada's Sun News. Because alone among major media, they reveal the Islamist fascists for who they are.

Muslim academics like Salim Mansur have tried to sound the alarm bells of what happens when we are not more careful about scrutinizing immigrants. Toronto's al Quds Day demonstration is living proof that he is right. Instead of giving people who seek freedom a refuge, Canada's irresponsible lack of diligence in its immigration policies has permitted the hate Muslim refugees sought to escape to follow them and take root in the heart of our land.

The Toronto Star gets the shakes as its crack dealer ends up in jail

The Toronto Star's idiotic vendetta against the city's mayor Rob Ford continues.

Today it reports that the crack dealer, who allegedly showed them a video, alleged by the Star, of Ford smoking something that appeared to be crack,  has been arrested and stabbed in jail. (Those sure are a lot of allegeds that the Star has chosen to let its reputation die on.)

I've come to for the view that very little The Star prints should be believed unless it can be independently verified by a creditable source.

This sentence from today's article exemplifies how discreditable that newspaper has become:

"As well, that no one wanted to take the $200,000 raised by Gawker because it was too public and there was a belief the money could be traced."

Yeah. Right. The crack dealer was too worried to take the $200K. Because if the supposed video (that's actual existence has never been proven) had come out, the attention would be on the crack dealer rather than Rob Ford and the video itself.  The Toronto Star: a newspaper written by idiots for idiots.

Fossilized ghosts of the Communist past rally against Israel

The miserable clowns of 9-11 conspiracy theorist Diana Ralph's Independent Jewish Voices held a rally yesterday. Blogwrath was there and as usual, there were as many if not more groups "endorsing" the sad little protest as there were people attending.

It's an old trick of the Marxist left to re-form a number of groups with the same members in each one to make it seem like they are a "movement" rather than a handful of human detritus. Among the pathetic old communists were some claiming the Monty Pythonesque-sounding name The United Jewish People's Order.

The Independent Jewish Voices held today a rally against the Israeli “apartheid” and “ethnic cleansing” in front of the Israeli Consulate in Toronto. According to their promotion, the endorsers include Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CJMPE), the Canadian Boat to Gaza (Gaza’s Ark), Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid (CAIA), the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network (IJAN) Canada, Queers Against Israeli Apartheid (QuAIA), Canadian Peace Alliance, Women in Solidarity with Palestine (WSP), and Palestine House.

It looks like most of the protesters are members of the same organizations, because I only saw the usual suspects, who show up at all similar events.

Amusingly, the street band in this video below outshone the protest next to them. The band had nothing to do with the anti-Israel group.  The band's name. "The Sidewalk Crusaders" would actually be an affront to the Islamists:
