Idiotic, radical student unions using student funds to support the nutcase, so-called ``Canadian Peace Alliance``

From Karl Marx Was Wrong:

The Ryerson Students’ Union is a member of a highly controversial organization called the Canadian Peace Alliance (CPA).  The Canadian Federation of Students (and CFS-Ontario), the York Federation of Students, and the University of Toronto Students’ Union are also listed as CPA members.

The CPA is an organization with extremely radical views.

A resolution on the agenda for the CPA’s upcoming convention from January 17-19 reads, “…Whereas North Korea has a program of peaceful reunification with the South, Whereas it is the U.S. at the head of NATO who is the real threat to peace on the Korean peninsula, Be it resolved that we will support the Korean people who are doing nothing but defend their sovereignty…”  Other resolutions speak of the Harper government’s “warmongering agenda” and “warmongering policies”, and claim that “the Harper government is consolidating Canada as an aggressor State and a partner-in-crime of the U.S.”

So apparently, the Canadian Peace Alliance’s idea of peace is to be less like that evil warmonger Stephen Harper and more like that peaceful leader Kim Jong Un (who recently executed his uncle)....

Pound back a few beers and get drunk, then have a few people executed...It's good to be Kim Jong-un!

This should please the communist morons who comprise the so-called Canadian Peace Alliance, which wants the west to appease North Korea even more:
The North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was "very drunk" when he ordered the recent execution of two aides close to his uncle Jang Song-thaek, reports say.

According to the Japanese newspaper YomiuriShimbun, the pair questioned an order from the dictator to hand over control of a business to the military. Sources told the newspaper Kim was "upset" when they said they needed to check with "Director Jang" first.

The leader's uncle, who was removed from power and killed as part of a recent high-profile purge, was head of the ruling Workers' Party administrative department.

Unenthusiastic clapping for North Korea's fuhrer could be fatal

"Who's that guy half-heartedly clapping for me?
I want him dead by tomorrow"

Among the reasons Jang Song Thaek was executed was that he had the North Korean fuhrer's words carved in a shady spot

The news from North Korea:

...When his cunning move proved futile and the decision that Kim Jong Un was elected vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea at the Third Conference of the WPK in reflection of the unanimous will of all party members, service personnel and people was proclaimed, making all participants break into enthusiastic cheers that shook the conference hall, he behaved so arrogantly and insolently as unwillingly standing up from his seat and half-heartedly clapping, touching off towering resentment of our service personnel and people...
...He was so imprudent as to prevent the Taedonggang Tile Factory from erecting a mosaic depicting Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and a monument to field guidance given by them. Moreover, Jang turned down the unanimous request of the service personnel of a unit of the Korean People's Internal Security Forces to have the autograph letter sent by Kim Jong Un to the unit carved on a natural granite and erected with good care in front of the building of its command. He was so reckless as to instruct the unit to erect it in a shaded corner.

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un's mistress, "Excellent Horse-like lady," executed for making sex tape

Unconfirmed reports claim the ex-girlfriend of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un was executed by firing squad along with 11 others, after the group allegedly made and sold a sex tape.

Hyon Song Wol, a singer in North Korea's famed Unhasu Orchestra, was killed by machine gun along with 11 other members of the orchestra and the Wangjaesan Light Music Band, another popular state-run music group in North Korea, according to a report in The Chosun Ilbo, South Korea's largest daily newspaper.

The report, which cites an anonymous source in China, says the group was arrested Aug. 17 for filming and selling a pornographic video featuring themselves. The clip reportedly found its way across the border to China. Their families were forced to watch the execution, which took place three days later, and were then sent to the country's notorious prison camps, the source said.

Another reason I love Canada - because we're pissing off all the right totalitarians

For the second time in as many days, Canada has sparked the ire of one of the world’s most brutal regimes.
At a UN humanitarian committee meeting on Wednesday, the North Korean representative said Canada had “insulted” the country’s “supreme authority” by, it appears, uttering the name of the late Kim Jong-il and suggesting his death marked an opportunity for the regime to undergo grand change.
“We never think of our country without his name,” envoy Kim Sook said in a statement directly squarely at Canada. “Under the wise leadership of great leader and comrade Kim Jong-il, Korean people [have] made great achievement so far and we will develop in the future, too.”

Showdown on the Korean Peninsula shows the value of not appeasing dictators

Just hours before it took place North Korea threatened to launch an attack on South Korea if the military exercise Yeonpyeong Island went ahead as scheduled yesterday.

The exercise was a response to the unprovoked shelling of Yeonpyeong Island by North Korea in November, in which  four people were killed.

The belligerent dictatorship of Kim Jong-Il has been distinguished by threats and provocations, including the torpedoing of a South Korean ship in April that caused the deaths of 46 South Korean sailors.

The mad little dictator and nuclear proliferate seemed to think that he could bully the West into easing sanctions with threats. He might even have succeeded, since there are many in the West who haven't learned the lessons about the appeasement of dictators from fascist era of the 1930s.

Dictators and fanatics only see appeasement as a sign of weakness and are emboldened by such behavior.

But like most bullies, when confronted, they usually back down and that was precisely what Korea's Little Kim did yesterday when South Korea went ahead with its scheduled maneuvers.

Now, if only Obama would grow a backbone and take the same stand with the maniacs who rule in Iran.
