The great dancer and entertainer Gregory Hines was taken too soon, 8 years ago. He was laid to rest in Oakville, Ontario.
Today would have been his 66th birthday, putting him in the same age range as some of the giants he performs with in this video:
Thanks for the memories! I grew up watching this kind of entertainment along with the great vocalists of the 40s & early 50s and I sure miss it.

Do they even teach this type of tap or even tap anymore? This brought tears to my eyes. Like listening to Carl Orff, Beethoven, Bach, Handel, and others. If this dies off because of not passing it down to others, we as a nation of American culture, need to have us forced to the likes of islam.
