Cognitively-challenged TDSB Trustee Howard Kaplan makes an incoherent attempt to defend exposing children to depravity
I'm giving some serious thought to running as for the Toronto District School Board in the upcoming election. I don't really want the job, but the system is so badly broken and is filled with incompetent fools like Howard Kaplan that something needs to be done.

The Toronto Star's Rick Salutin evades questions from Michael Coren
I have to give credit to al Starzeera's Rick Salutin for having the courage to appear on The Arena with Michael Coren to discuss Stephen Harper's trip to Israel and the political (and other forms of discrimination) faced by the Jewish State.
But as you will see in the segment below, Salutin has to evade and obfuscate frequently to avoid admitting his ideological opposition to Israel is based on ignorance and bias.

Jonathan Kay: Who would have thunk it? Angry Ezra is making media mincemeat of Saint Suzuki
Actually, Jon, a lot of us saw this coming..
..Ezra’s brilliant trick with Suzuki has been to turn the Cult of Suzuki on its head. Cults, after all, are creepy, because their social dynamic typically consists of an all-knowing father figure exercising moral suasion over legions of younger followers. Witness the episode at John Abbott College in Montreal, in which Suzuki’s team suggested that their boss be surrounded on campus by an all-female bodyguard corps.
Cults also usually reek of hypocrisy — because cult leaders, being human, never have the discipline to live by their own precepts.
“There are two David Suzukis,” Ezra writes in his most recent column for the Sun chain. “Most of us know one of the Suzukis. Let’s call him Saint Suzuki. That’s the Suzuki whose TV show on the CBC constantly lectures us about our lifestyle. He says we need to consume less, buy less and use less fossil fuels. But then there’s another Suzuki. Let’s call him Secret Suzuki, because he’s far less well-known...

Why is it that only Sun News is pointing out David Suzuki's important conflicts of interest?
It took Ezra Levant's aggressive journalistic approach to get a Superior Court Judge to remove herself from a mock trail, in which she would be dealing with issues that might have come before her in court.
"The Trial of David Suzuki" is a theatrical exercise in anti-fossil-fuel activism.
But David Suzuki's hypocrisy, proliferation of falsehood and ignorance of fact about matters on which he pontificates has only been challenged in the media by Sun News.
The role of a journalist is not just to report, but to ask tough questions.
When the answer to those questions is to turn tail and run, as David Suzuki did earlier this week, that is more revealing than a full-page spread.

More on those burdens on the Canadian taxpayer, John Greyson and Tarek Loubani
Yesterday, Michael Coren and I discussed those two exploiters of the Canadian taxpayer, John Greyson and Tarek Loubani.
There are a few post-scripts to the interview.
As we noted in the interview, the Globe and Mail's columnist Margaret Wente wrote an article a few days ago, one of very few outside Sun News, that provided factual background information on Greyson and Loubani and was harshly critical of the duo.
She concluded her column with:
In this case, the government – one that Mr. Greyson and Mr. Loubani viscerally despise – applied the heat at the highest level. Foreign Minister John Baird even met with his Egyptian counterpart. These two should kiss Mr. Baird’s feet. But I wouldn’t hold my breath. As it turns out, Wente was completely correct. Yesterday, Greyson and Loubani released a nauseating video in which they thanked their supporters, but did not offer a single word of thanks to the Canadian government, or the rest of us who have now paid exorbitant costs to exculpate them from the consequences of their narcissistic conflict tourism.
Also, during the conversation, Michael made the significant point that Islamic news service al Jazeera, will expunge parts of the background of western useful idiots who invest immeasurable amounts of time into vilifying Israel, to make them more palatable to their religious Muslim audience. The example he used was the notorious Jenny Peto, in the case of whom, her openly "queer" background never came up.
The fact that Peto is one of Greyson and Loubani's most ardent supporters, and that she shares their beliefs is significant.
At a sparsely attended rally at Ryerson University earlier this week that drew more media than spectators, Peto was one of the people tied in with the organizers, including Greyson's sister Cecilia and Ryerson "Social Justice" professor Winnie Ng. It was unusual for Peto to be front and center at such an event recently. Prior to late 2010, she was at the forefront of Canada's anti-Israel fanaticism, but the exposure of an anti-Semitic thesis she wrote for the University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Studies in Education made her an embarrassment to them.
The thesis, which was both facile and laughably absent of actual research even brought the academic standards University of Toronto into disrepute. Essentially, her thesis, which paralleled the sort of writing one can find from neo-Nazi authors, asserted that Jews are privileged racists who use the Holocaust to perpetuate the myth of their own victimhood while advancing the cause of an "oppressive" Zionist Jewish state.
The anti-Semitism of her thesis was condemned by, among others, Ontario Liberal Cabinet Minister Dr. Eric Hoskins, who is not a right-wing reactionary by anyone's standards.
Jenny Peto's new look at the "John and Tarek" rally has a strange familiarity
There is an even wider Freudian subtext to people like Greyson and Peto, untalented Gays who have dedicated themselves to the demonization of the only country that respects Gay rights and minority religious rights in the middle east. The lies they tell about Israel reveals nothing about Zionism or the Jewish state, but it reveals a great deal about their own unresolved personal issues.

The pathetic, paranoid and hilarious world of Canada's nutcase, far-left radicals
The vapid Canadian far left sees "oppression" in just about everything.
To illustrate their cognitive impairment, it should suffice to say that they live in the most prosperous, egalitarian society in the history of the world, and complaining of its "oppression," these geniuses want to replace it with a system that has invariably lead to totalitarianism, poverty and mass-murder of civilians.
Aside from their many imagined "oppressions," there is something the intensely earnest, humorless egotists of the radical left despise even more. Whet riles them more than anything is when they are exposed as foolish hypocrites. To observe their self-discrediting idiocy, all one has to do is pay a modicum of attention to what they say and do. But the radical left has benefited from the laziness and sympathy of the mainstream media which frequently reports only a fragment of the radicals' activities and omits their most glaring acts of intellectual seppuku.
Which is why they are really, really pissed off at a blogger named Greg Renouf who operates a blog called GenuineWitty.
I've written before about the radical left's animus towards Greg. It seems that their rancor has reached new levels now that Renouf is a regular guest on Ezra Levant's show on Sun News Network. Levant is an outsider who routinely exposes the hypocrisy and stupidity of the leftist fanatics. With the inside knowledge that Greg brings, they have incurred the absolute fury of the radicals by revealing them as clownish objects of ridicule.
Componding the amusement are the pathetic efforts of some leftists to strike back. Filled with prose doused in a melange of sanctimony, vitriol and self-pity, it's hilarious reading.
Patrick Ross at Bad Company provides more detailed background here, but for a great laugh, there's no substitute for the original material at this link.

Ezra Levant crashes the Hamilton Line 9 Protest and the results are funny.

Warren Kinsella: CTRC ruling gave Sun News what it wanted
.... (Sun News Network) got what it wanted. Here’s three reasons why:
More HERE
h/t Michael Coren
- The CRTC decision will ultimately create a new category of licences for Canadian all-news channels, like the ones found on CTV and CBC as well as SNN. It’s asking for public comment on all that, sure. But the CRTC decision will force cable companies to offer all Canadian national news services, including SNN. That’s parity.
- The CRTC’s clever plan will put all these news services in close proximity on your TV dial. It will also put all national news services – CTV and CBC included – in a package. And it’ll force cable companies to offer it. That’s placement.
- The CRTC will put Canadian news channels – you know, Sun News, CTV News Channel and CBC News Network – on a higher priority footing than foreign-owned news channels, like CNN or Al Jazeera. That’s the patriotism part: it’s dumb to give more to foreign-owned networks than all-Canadian ones. So the CRTC’s changing that.

Toronto's al Quds Day demonstration makes the case for immigration reform
A large, dark, toxic slug snaked its way along a few blocks of Toronto's University Avenue yesterday afternoon. It had six hundred or so moving parts, each one steaming with hateful bile. It was the annual Al Quds Day march from Queens Park to the American consulate.
Toronto al Quds support for terrorism
Brandishing the flag of the genocidal terror group Hezbollah, while bellowing "Down with U.S.A." and "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" the display seemed better suited to the streets of Tehran than the quiet, dignified edifices of Toronto's hospital district. Indeed it was from Tehran where the insidious virus came. Al Quds Day is a creation of the deceased pedophile, Ayatollah Khomeini who intended it to rally Muslims around the world to the cause of the destruction of Israel. The throng of demonstrators in Toronto were, with the exception of a tiny handful of their useful idiot acolytes, all devout followers of that murderous, depraved Iranian dictator.
The "sisters" had to be kept a respectable distance from the "brothers"
The march, plunging through the midday August heat, was divided into two sections. Led by the head-to-toe covered women's, or "sisters" section, they were followed by the dingy, Autumn-colored sweater-wearing "brothers" with enough of a spacing so that modesty would be protected from their hyperactive sexual turgidity,
The attendees and the signs they bore were identical to Toronto's al Quds Day demonstrations of the last three years, though this year's numbers were fewer, in part due to Ontario's Sergeant-at-Arms cancelling the Khomeinists' permit to assemble on the lawn of the legislature. So instead they chose to gather in the treed park behind Ontario's Parliament.
Useful idiot Ken Stone compares Kathleen Wynne to Hitler
Though slightly muted from previous years' fiercer invective, there were still speakers who tried to incite the murder of Jews, including one who proclaimed "we will give them two minutes and then we'll start shooting!" One of the useful idiots, a paranoid shill for Iran named Ken Stone, compared Ontario's Premier Kathleen Wynne to Adolf Hitler because of the cancellation of the Queen's Park permit over security concerns. In the mind of the bizarre Munchausen Jew Mr. Stone, saying the exact same words in a public space approximately 60 yards away from where they had originally intended is evidently the imposition of some sort of fascist regime.
Ironically, the same Mr. Stone is a proponent of the most brutal, fascist regime on earth, the one in Iran which routinely rapes, murders, and tortures prisoners, and persecutes religious minorities.
Some of the speakers dissembled about wanting a one state solution with equal rights for all. The part they often leave out was the part that rally organizer Zafar Bangash has previously proclaimed, that such "equal rights" would be under Islamic Sharia law. As proponents of the Iranian dictatorship, the equality these people have in mind is the equal right for women to be raped by their prison guards as a matter of policy, the equal right of women to be publicly beaten for wearing "immodest clothing, " the equal right of women to be stoned for committing adultery, the equal right to be beheaded for blaspheming against Islam's founder Mohammed, and the equal right, shared by Baha'i in Iran, to be viciously persecuted for their religious beliefs that conflict with traditional Islamic practice.
The al Quds demonstrators are not typical of Canadian Muslims. It is from such people at the al Quds Day demo, and the regimes they represent, that most Muslims in Canada came to escape.
But due to a failing in our immigration system that clearly needs to be rectified, we have allowed these murderous fanatics to live among us. Here, in the safety of Canada, they try to find a way to incubate and spread their vile hatred of our society, which they have come to simultaneously denounce, undermine and exploit.
The spectre of Khomeini hangs over the Toronto al Quds demo via Sanwin
These Khomeinists are the people who have brought the despicable ideologies which teach bigotry in their schools. The product of such horrific indoctrination was in full display yesterday as a young boy was trotted out to speak. Nursed on the malice and prejudice that are articles of faith for Islamists, he displayed the result that comes from being reared by hatemongers.
He passionately recited biases with which he has been conditioned from birth.
"Death to Sun News!"
It is critical that people see this. The fatuous, politically-correct mainstream media, feeling that exposing the truth would inflame prejudice, become complicit with hatemongers by selectively ignoring their invective and trying to portray them in a favorable light. That is why the Khomeinists demonstrate such hate for Canada's Sun News. Because alone among major media, they reveal the Islamist fascists for who they are.
Muslim academics like Salim Mansur have tried to sound the alarm bells of what happens when we are not more careful about scrutinizing immigrants. Toronto's al Quds Day demonstration is living proof that he is right. Instead of giving people who seek freedom a refuge, Canada's irresponsible lack of diligence in its immigration policies has permitted the hate Muslim refugees sought to escape to follow them and take root in the heart of our land.

Michael Coren on The Levin Factor
Yesterday evening, I was discussing some of the aspects of the proposed Ontario Sex Education curriculum with a friend who is a mother of a 13 year old boy. I mentioned a couple of the subjects that Kathleen Wynne and Ben Levin, her Deputy Minister of Education who was arrested on child pornography charges this week, wanted introduced.
This woman, who has immaculate credentials as a "progressive leftist," was appalled that I even mentioned the subject titles around her 13 year-old. I did it with with no further information other than the titles and mentioned far less salacious ones than Michael Coren did in his article in Today's Toronto Sun linked below.
The point is, if just describing the actual subjects scandalized a liberal-minded parent of a child two years older than the age at which Wynne and Levin wanted to teach such graphic sexual material, imagine how disturbing it would be to parents for their pre-pubescent children to get the full, hard-core indoctrination.
Michael Coren's article The Levin Factor in Today's Toronto Sun provides important facts about the agenda that Kathleen Wynne and the institution where Ben Levin was a senior academic, The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), wanted to impose on public school children in Ontario.
"...tremendously unsettling is that Levin was a major player in an educational establishment that gave us 2010’s radical and extreme sex education curriculum; it was postponed due to public pressure, but Premier Wynne has promised to reintroduce it.
The sex education program in question proposed that 11-year-olds focus on gender identity, homophobia, personal satisfaction and learning about their bodies through masturbation and vaginal lubrication."
N.B. The very first time I appeared on Michael's show The Arena on the Sun News Network, almost two years ago, it was to draw attention to the deplorable approach to education being taken by OISE.
Hopefully, the one positive thing that will come from the events of this week is that people concerned about the state of affairs in education will finally take notice and push for the University of Toronto to clean house there.

Too stupid to be Prime Minister: Justin Trudeau gets asked a non-softball question and assumes it's from Sun News
Justin "le Dauphin" Trudeau was asked whether he thinks it's wise to talk to the Taliban by a CBC news reporter on Parliament Hill. Obviously not used to getting asked serious questions by the Canada's consensus media, Trudeau immediately assumed the reporter was from Sun News.
Trudeau then avoided giving a straight answer to the question. But in fairness, it's Justin Trudeau we're talking about, so maybe he didn't understand it.
