-----
OCAP and John Clarke are affiliated with an number of groups including the New Socialists who John Clarke described as OCAP’s “Sein Feinn”, plus the Communist Party of Canada, No One Is Illegal Toronto and other groups such as the Federation of Metro Tenants Associations.
John Ronald Clarke, who likes the humble title of OCAP organiser, but is their defacto leader and owner. Born May 16, 1954. (Some reports claim he was born on May 26) John emigrated to Canada from England as a sponsored immigrant by his sister. He worked from 1976 to 1982 at the London Westinghouse Plant (Ontario)when he was laid off. His labor union which he was quite active in, hated him would not support him. He subsequently formed the Union of Unemployed Workers and in 1989 created the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty. John Clarke was a worker factory, laid off in 1982. After losing his job, he helped form a union of the unemployed. In 1990, this organization helped out in the campaign that led to the formation of OCAP. In the autumn of 1990, the founding conference of OCAP took place. After some debate, it set a course for the organization that committed it to mobilizing poor and homeless people to fight back through militant, direct action

Toronto District School Board's partners OCAP hold "F*ck the Police" march
[ UPDATE: Apparently the headline should be "Some leaders and plenty of members of TDSB partner OCAP hold Fuck the Police March" ]
The appalling behavior and language from the mentally unbalanced fanatics at the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP) during their "Fuck the Police March" last week is typical of that group. Carrying flags honoring Cuabn mass-murderer Che Guevara, they converged on Toronto's Police Headquarters where, ironically, the police protected them from oncoming traffic as the radicals hurled fowl-mouthed invective at the people whose responsibility is law enforcement.
Notable about this is that slow-witted leadership of the Toronto District School Board thinks it is appropriate to partner with the violent, radical OCAP and give them access to school children.
OCAP plans to gather at Toronto City Hall to harass the Community Development and Recreation Committee on Monday morning at 9 am. That may prove amusing.

Toronto District School Board adopts Glorious Leader Wynne's program to teach hatred of class enemies
The Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP) is a radical group of often violent, foul-mouthed fanatics whose leaders advocate for class warfare. With offers of free food and clothing, they bribe mentally ill and homeless people who have little knowledge of the positions they advocate to attend their demonstrations.
They are known for their attempts at verbal and physical intimidation of politicians and citizens who disagree with their hateful agenda. OCAP frequently makes common cause with an organization of Trotskyite lunatics called No One Is Illegal which is closely linked with the violent Black Bloc.
So who better, in the questionable judgement of the commissars of the Toronto District School Board, to provide classroom instruction for Marxist-sounding ``Anti-Classism Education`` than these vicious organizations. It doesn`t take much of a look to see that the TDSB and Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne`s Ministry of Education share the same goals of those groups of replacing western `neo-liberal democracy` with the socialist paradise they envision; one the class enemies are either re-educated or eliminated.
From the looks of things, Ontario is in some very deep trouble.

The Food Stamp President becomes the Class Warfare President
With what may be President Obama's final State of the Union address , he has outlined the divisions that will define the philosophical conflict in the 2012 election. The conflict to be played out will be the battle between American exceptionalism and European-style class resentment.
“You can call this class warfare all you want. But asking a billionaire to pay at least as much as his secretary in taxes? Most Americans would call that common sense.”
Obama didn't actually distinguish what kind of taxes he was talking about during his attempt at divisive populism during his State of the Union speech tonight. The reason those billionaires are paying less in taxes is because they tend to make more income from Capital Gains taxes. That's tax on profits from investments bought with money they have already paid taxes on. Like when you get taxed on interest in your bank account.
What does raising the tax rate on investment income usually accomplish? Lower investment rates. Investments are what create jobs and drive industry. If Obama had ever held a real job in his life, he might understand that better. But seemingly motivated by the defunct, vapid Occupy movement's call to class warfare and vilifying the "1%", the Food Stamp President, who is in danger of losing the 2012 election, has leaped upon the opportunity to exploit class resentment.
A disciple of radical activist Saul Alinsky, Mr. Obama may not have a tremendous understanding of the American spirit, which is something very different than the attitudes in the socialist Europe he admires and wants to emulate.
That weakness has laid bare the Republican strategy, to play upon optimism and the American dream and use it against Mr. Obama's 21st Century version of Jimmy Carter's National Malaise.
The man who came to Washington promising "change" is now likely to be remembered as "The Great Divider," being responsible for more political polarization than a predecessor who was relentlessly accused of that fault.
Obama's State of the Union shows a President who thinks he leads a nation as pessimistic as he is. That betrays a fundamental misunderstanding of the American character and one that will likely cost him more votes than the Deocrats' war chest can buy between now and November.
Update: I think I know where Obama's getting his stupid economic ideas
Herman Cain's response to the State of the Union address was rather good:
