Canada's pro-Assad, pro-Iran 5th column

There are plenty of good reasons for the west not to get mixed up in Syria's civil war.

The dithering, inept leadership from the White House has made the situation even worse, because Syrians fighting for democracy and rule of law know they can rely on America for no more support than when President Obama abandoned the students of Iran's "Green Revolution" to the brutality of the mullahs.

Western intervention in Syria might have produced a good outcome over a year and a half ago. The rebellion against Bashar Assad's dictatorship began with Syrians inspired by the shift to democracy that seemed to be sweeping through the Muslim Middle East.

But now the Syrian rebellion, like the rest of the "Arab Spring," has been overrun by depraved Jihadists trying to impose a tyrannical form of Sharia that could make even the serial killer Bashar Assad look like Marcus Aurelius.

As Henry Kissinger famously said of the Iran-Iraq War, "can they both lose?"

Nonetheless, there are groups of people in Canada who are adamant that the west should not attack Assad, even following his use of chemical weapons that killed women and children.

Some of them were out yesterday on a muggy Toronto afternoon, the last day of an excessively humid August, dragging along children with Bashar Aassad's dour, moustached face emblazoned on t-shirts above the caption "we love you."

Why is it that they are so passionate in their zeal to protect a vicious mass-murderer?

Some are Syrian expats beholden to the regime.

But others are working for the interests of Iran, and Syria is one of the Iranian dictatorship's few allies. And they are becoming frenetic with worry as one of the last holdouts of tyranny sympathetic to the Khomeinst regime is on the ropes.

These people who are so devoted to Iran include Canadian radical leftists like those in the so-called Canadian Peace Alliance.

Sid Lacombe at the 2013 al Quds Day rally
The leader of the Canadian Peace Alliance, Sid Lacombe, is a regular speaker at Khomeinist al Quds Day hate fests. He uses that platform, not to call for human rights to be respected by the torturers, rapists and killers in the Iranian regime, but to attack Canada's Prime Minister and Canadian policies.

One of Lacombe's stooges is an oddball named Ken Stone, who was present at a pro-Assad rally in Toronto yesterday.

via (GenuineWitty)
Stone was an invited guest of the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, who whined about being asked questions about his visit to Iran by Canadian Security Services. It  takes a remarkable degree of hypocrisy to praise the vicious Syrian regime of Assad, while being able to slam the door in the face of Canadian Security agents with no repercussions, and then complain about Canada's repressiveness. That degree of hypocrisy seems to come naturally to Ken Stone.

Also at the pro-Assad rally was the notorious union apparatchik, Ali Mallah, an individual who suppressed Canadian Union of Public Employees criticism of the genocide in Darfur because it makes Muslims and Arabs look bad.

The Canadian servants of Middle Eastern dictators and their useful idiot acolytes are among us. Professing to care care about Human Rights, what they actually care about are the totalitarian dictatorships to whose interests they are so closely aligned.

The Death Cult takes to Toronto's streets

"We will win because they love life and we love death"
- Hamas slogan

The meaning of the striking, controversial, crystal-like structure jutting over Toronto's Bloor Street that is part of the renovated Royal Ontario Museum has been the subject of much speculation since it was built a few years ago. Yesterday I heard an explanation for its shape I hadn't heard before. Designed by architect Daniel Libeskind,  it appears the edifice was built to serve the International Jewish Conspiracy.

That, at least, was the reason I was told that the noise from the loudspeakers across the street, reverberating against the crystal and amplifying the noise from the loudspeakers of pro-Israel counter-demonstrators, was drowning out pro-Hamas hysterics gathered opposite the building housing the Israeli consulate.

The Hamas supporters' demonstration was rather tame and anti-climactic.Their turnout was disappointing - almost 1300 clicktavists had committed to attend the demonstration on its facebook page, but less than a fifth of that number showed up to vent their fury. It was planned while the recent Israel-Gaza conflagration was still occurring, but since then a cease-fire has come into effect. Nonetheless, war or peace is irrelevant to the core of hateful fanatics for whom a Jewish state is an affront and its destruction is catechism.

Many of the usual suspects obsessed with eliminating the only genuine democracy in the middle east were there. Ali Mallah, the buffoonish Islamist CUPE representative, the shrill, frumpy Sociology professor Mary Jo Nadeau and Sid Lacombe,  the grubby puppet of Iranian interests who acts as fuhrer of the misleadingly-named Canadian Peace Alliance, were in the forefront.

Queers Against Israeli Apartheid's sad old man,
Tim McCaskell addressing the mob
There were a few surprises as well. One of the featured speakers was a young woman who made a disgraceful name for herself earlier this month by disrupting Toronto's Remembrance Day services and insulting the memory of Canada's fallen soldiers. Ranting about Canada being a "white supremacist society,"  this woman was obviously too stupid to comprehend the irony of her complaining about not having free speech in Canada while screaming slanderous insults about this country into a microphone at one of the busiest intersections in the nation's most populous city. That she was honored by the vapid pro-Hamas group was hardly surprising.

A significant visual distinction between the pro and anti-Israel demonstrators that revealed much of who they are could be seen in the complete absence of Canadian flags among the Hamas supporters. The pro-Israel group held Canadian and Israeli flags together.  Among the Muslim and radical leftists across the street were Palestinian, Syrian, and Turkish flags and signs proclaiming their hate, but not a single Red Maple Leaf.

The reason for that is something they made clear; because the Hamas supporters despise Canada. Referring to our country as an "occupied, racist, colonialist-settler state," among other expressions of detest, their invective towards Canada was only slightly less vitriolic than their venom directed towards Israel.

And you probably thought all the remaining Bolsheviks
had crawled back under their rocks...
Along those lines was the bloviating from Union Boss Sid Ryan of the Ontario Federation of Labour. If ever there was a personification of the need for Bill C-377, which calls for transparency in union spending, Ryan is it. Doing what he does best, which is being a self-aggrandizing blowhard, Ryan bragged about how he pushed through a 'boycott Israel' resolution while heading the Ontario branch of the Canadian Union of Public Employees.  In his tenure at CUPE, Ryan's pompous foolishness did nothing but prove how ineffective his resolution was, have scorn heaped on the union, and offend the majority of public workers and others for whom Israel's destruction is the furthest thing from their minds. Claiming the "occupation" has been going on since 1947, before it even became an independent state, Ryan revealed the end of  Israel's very existence is the goal he is striving to abuse his union role to further.

On the occasions I attend these types of protests, it is to observe and chronicle them. There was something about this instance that was different. This time, in the heart of Toronto, just a few blocks from the neighbourhood where I grew up, standing next to Canadian Forces veterans like Mark Vandermaas,  remembering some of the brave Canadian WW2 vets whom I knew as a child,  and hearing Canada and Canada's proud history being maligned by hateful acolytes of a new form of fascism, I decided to participate.

I took a Canadian flag and waved it high in the wind opposite the symbols of evil wielded by the ignominious votaries of a Death Cult. Waving our nation's flag amid a group ranging from little old ladies, former Peacekeepers, university students, average citizens and even a few of the extreme Zionists of the Jewish Defense League there to show their disdain for terrorists felt good, but I wanted to do a little more.

A barrier was put up to create a wide berth
between the terror supporters and
civilized people visiting the Museum
While Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid denizen Mary Jo Nadeau may be a low-tier academic with an unimpressive intellect, there is indeed one thing she does moderately well - screaming mindless slogans during demonstrations. Before she, Mallah and the rest of the anti-Israel mob skulked away along Bloor Street,  I decided to try an experiment. The Hamas supporters have a simple, facile narrative: "we are oppressed, we are victims, they are oppressors" and that was the essence of the tripe Nadeau was screaming, but she wasn't doing a very good job of electrifying her side.

On the north side, one of the Israel supporters had been continually talking into a rival loudspeaker, reciting support for Israel and opposition to terror. He was doing a decent job of counterbalancing the din from the Hamasphiles on the south, but neither that nor Nadeau's best efforts left either side impassioned by what they heard. So I thought I'd help the bad guys get more excited about their cause.

Union Commissar Ryan bewailed Canada not "saying a word" about Israel's "disproportionate" retaliation against Hamas. So borrowing the microphone from the pro-Israel speaker, I started with: "On that side of the street, they complain that the Canadian government hasn't condemned Israel. That's because Canada supports democracy and liberty over terrorism and tyranny!"  That got their notice and I continued.

"On that side of the street, they support totalitarianism and dictatorship, on this side we support democracy and freedom! On that side, they support Hamas launching indiscriminate attacks against women and children, on this side we support the right of free people to defend themselves from terror!"

Remembering that a few minutes earlier, a subdued and tired-looking Tim McCaskell from the small, lunatic fringe group of anti-capitalist Gays called "Queers Against Israeli Apartheid" had addressed the Hamas supporters, I closed with an acknowledgement of his group's self-defeating stupidity. "On that side, they support Hamas, which oppresses women, which denies free speech to Gaza and murders people for being Gay. On this side we support equal rights and human rights for everyone!"

The experiment worked. While I delivered that brief address, the Hamas-lovers were jumping up and down, shouting profanities and threats, with pained expressions of rage like rats in a Skinner Box.

I handed the microphone back to the gentleman who was speaking before me, who then continued with his recitation. Though a great deal briefer and far less eloquent than the speech delivered earlier in the week by Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird, I'd made some of the same points and had done what I wanted.

One incident that was recounted to me by an elderly woman after the demonstrations dispersed is worth mentioning. There was a young woman, a university student, holding a sign among the Hamasites that read, "I was born in Israel and I condemn Israeli Apartheid." The elderly woman asked her, "how is it that Israel is an apartheid country?" Evidently not really understanding the meaning of the word, the student replied, "Israel took land away from the Palestinians."

"But what does that have to do with apartheid?" the older woman countered. "The same land was taken away from the Jews too and was never a 'Palestinian state.' In fact Zionists were able to buy up much of the land when it was controlled by the Ottoman Empire."

To that, the younger woman said, "what's the Ottoman Empire?"

What's the Ottoman Empire? That in a nutshell describes a vast amount about the anti-Israel fanatics who gather periodically on Canadian streets. Too witless to think beyond the puerile slogans they hear and too incurious to inquire beyond the indoctrination of biased, politicized liberal arts courses, they parade like stupid lemmings to the precipice of a loathsome ideology they don't even comprehend.

Primer for Saturday's Hate Rally in Toronto

The Islamist and totalitarian leftist hatemongers and fanatics who support terrorists whose goal is the destruction of Israel are planning a huge gathering in downtown Toronto this Saturday afternoon. Though a ceasefire was agreed to in the current Israel-Gaza conflict, their hate for Israel and desire to see it annihilated has not subsided and they still plan on spewing their venom on the streets.

The mainstream media, some for laziness, others because of their shallow-minded, politically-correct cultural relativism, will portray the event in a different way than understood anyone who ever has seen the groups involved in action.

Though it will be portrayed in the pages of The Toronto Star and on CBC broadcasts as a pro-Palestine or even an "anti-war" rally, the late essayist and philosopher Christopher Hitchens has these people identified correctly;  "in reality, they are straight out pro-war, but on the other side."  The other side for the Islamo-fascist/totalitarian left alliance, as we have seen in Toronto in the last few weeks, both at disruptions during Remembrance Day services and in front of the Israeli consulate, is Canada's enemy the Taliban and the terror group Hamas.

The people who will be marching will not be a reflection of normal, civilized Canadian citizenry. They are hatemongers and supporters of totalitarianism. And as they say at the ballpark, you can't tell the players without a program, so here is a primer to some of the more prominent reprobates who are likely to be there:

Zafar Bangash, the Grand Poobah of the York Region Islamic Centre. Bangash is a hatemonger and racist whom, at an anti-Israel rally, called US President Obama "that black man in the White House" and later referred to him in an article as "a perfect Uncle Tom." A hypocrite as well as a hatemonger, Bangash plays footsie with so-called progressive, anti-homophobia groups while also saying that Muslim children should not be taught that homosexuality isn't a sinful lifestyle. Bangash is a paid mouthpiece for the murderous, Iranian regime, having worked with the Iranian government on a laudatory biography of its sadistic dictator, Ayatollah Khomeini.

Bangash is one of the principal leaders of anti-Israel activities in Ontario. Many of the participants at Saturday's hate rally will be bused in from the mosque he leads as well as under the direction of the Shiite organizations with which he is closely involved.

Ali Mallah, another nasty racist and hypocrite. Mallah, like his close associate Zafar Bangash, used racist terminology, calling Muslim reformer Tarek Fatah a "house Negro" while preposterously calling those who oppose his fanaticism "racists."  Presenting as simple-minded, thuggish buffoon, he is actually an astute organizer and is the link between Islamist organizations and far left Trotskyite, anti-western groups. He has held or currently holds senior positions in The Canadian Arab Federation (defunded by the federal government for supporting terrorism and anti-Semitism), Palestine House,  CUPE, The Canadian Peace Alliance and Alternatives International.

Mallah used his position as a CUPE vice president to suppress union criticism of the Darfur genocide as it would be harmful to the reputation of Muslims and Arabs.

The Canadian Peace Alliance is a group acting for Iranian interests in Canada. One of its leaders, James Clark, has boasted about his close friendship with Zafar Bangash and the group conducts campaigns in support of the totalitarian, theocratic Iranian regime

Eva Bartlett is a strange woman with a neurotic demenour, originally from Canada, now residing in Gaza with her Palestinian husband. She is a member of the radical pro-Islamist Trotskyite group International Solidarity Movement. Her supporters refer to her as "the Canadian Rachel Corrie" although, unlike her supposed namesake, she has at least demonstrated the minimal level of sanity required to avoid playing chicken with an Israeli military bulldozer. Her efforts are supported by Mallah and a fanatical anti-Israel group with the deceptive name Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East. Bartlett maintains that while Israel does not have the right to defend itself, Palestinians have the right to launch terror attacks which qualify as war crimes because she deems them "resistance."

No One Is Illegal a depraved, Trotskyite group that has been in part funded by the University of Toronto's communist-controlled Ontario Public Interest Research Group. No One Is Illegal opposes any immigration restrictions and has close links with the violent Black Bloc, and shares membership with them.

Palestine House is a Palestinian advocacy organization that lost its federal funding due to its support for terrorism and anti-Semitism. It has been involved in massive immigration fraud.

OCAP - The Ontario Coalition Against Poverty is a radical, violent, anti-capitalist group funded by the Canadian Union of Public Employees. Its leader, John Clarke, has called for class warfare. The group is comprised largely of homeless and mentally ill individuals. OCAP frequently attracts unfortunates with no knowledge of the causes involved to its demonstrations and protests by promising them free food.

Queers Against Israeli Apartheid is an anarchist/Trotskyite organization of Gays who seek Israel's elimination. Many of its membership are psychologically damaged Gay Jews who are venting rejection by their conservative families by seeking destruction of the Jewish state. The group also functions as a rare social outlet for marginalized, unattractive lesbians with few other social venues. Among its members is the author of a notorious anti-Semitic Masters degree thesis produced for the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.

Independent Jewish Voices is a group of socially maladroit anti-Israel Jews which was founded by and is largely comprised of 9-11 conspiracy theorists. Many of its members are Marxist academics insecure about being intellectual lightweights. Most of its members are, old, bitter, childless and resentful.

Sandra Ruch is the obese owner of the Canadian Gaza Boat, dubbed by bloggers as The Sea Hitler. She frequently engages in hyperbolic and hysterically over-emotional public tirades. Her behaviour suggests a lonely, insecure person desperate for attention. As a Jew who publicly denounces Israel with the most extreme, preposterous invective, she is able to get that otherwise unattainable notice from Islamist and Marxist groups for whom destruction of the Jewish state  is of paramount importance while providing them with the pretense for deniability of their anti-Semitism.

Neutrei Karta is a bizarre Jewish cult of extremist anti-Israel Jews. Due to the small size of the cult,
the membership is frequently inbred, which partially accounts for their freakish appearance. They claim to be pro-Palestinian, but that is disingenuous. They also claim to be anti-oppression, but the only oppression anywhere they have ever expressed outrage about is that allegedly committed by Israel. The motivation for the cult's anti-Israel activities is a misguided belief that God has prohibited Jews from creating a state in Israel until the arrival of the Messiah. They seek Israel's destruction as a means of redressing that "error." The cult's hatred for Israel is so intense that they have embraced the murderous, Holocaust-denying President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, with whom they share the common goal of the elimination of the Jewish state.

The cult also believes that Jews should dress like Eastern Europeans in the early 17th Century, which accounts for their clown-like costumes.

CASMO - The Canadian Organization of Shiite Muslims. The group, while denying hating Jews is overtly anti-Semitic. It has posted anti-Semitic videos by neo-Nazi leader David Duke on its website and its membership is tied to the recent case of the Hate Madrassa in Toronto which was the subject of a hate crime investigation for teaching anti-Semitism as part of its curriculum. The group is closely linked with Zafar Bangash and Ali Mallah.

Terror supporters come out to shriek in Toronto

Toronto's Bloor Street, in front of the Royal Ontario Museum, was barricaded on the north and south to divide a pro-Hamas gang of terror supporters that numbered about three hundred from about one hundred mostly Jewish supporters of Israel.

Looking south at the Hamasites
The scene was completely predictable, the usual suspects of swarthy, bearded Muslims with their hijab adorned women were bolstered by radical anti-western leftists like Socialist Action. The small, inbred,  Jewish fringe group Neutrei Karta sent the same pair of freakish looking lunatics that attend such rallies, so the Palestinians can trot them up to the front of the crowd and make the spurious claim it is only Zionists and not Jews that they hate. That leaves unmentioned the Hamas Charter which calls for the murder of Jews and frequently references the anti-Semitic forgery The Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

One of the Neutrei Karta crazies
On the south side of the street, the Hamas supporters were for the most part wearing their Palestinian kefeyehs. Among them was the repugnant Ali Mallah, who is a leader of the anti-Israel crowd and a fixture at such gatherings. They included a sickly-looking handful of white students desperate for some semblance of identity and appropriating that of something they believe to be an "oppressed" culture is a wet dream for those half-wits.
Pro-Israel to the north

One of the distinct differences between the opposing camps was that the pro-Israel supporters were normal, middle-class citizens. There was a jovial atmosphere on the north side of the street where they assembled, with a number of them having brought their pet dogs. The Hamas supporters, some of whom carried posters with a picture of the terror organizations recently eliminated military wing commander, had their own type of festivities going on. They would shout abuse and claims of victimization and then the group would go into a hysterical frenzy, resembling the Arab crowds in Gaza or Tehran roaring Allahu Akbar! and Death to America! Anyone who has seen the movie Argo would recognize their resemblance to the throng that stormed the US Embassy.

Blogger Blazing Cat Fur was there, as was Blogwrath. Blazing Cat Fur observed  the main reason the terror supporters outnumbered the Israel supporters was because few among the former have jobs or families. The Hamasites are professional protesters and malcontents while the Israel supporters have real lives and responsibilities to attend. The idiots from the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty (OCAP) who were there in support of Hamas was exemplary of that.  OCAP is primarily made up of people who collect Ontario Disability Support Payments (ODSP) because of psychiatric illness that renders them unemployable.

In the midst of the bad guys
These demonstrations and counter-demonstrations are not occasions for serious exchange of ideas. They are groups of people yelling at each other while ignoring what they say. Their entire message can be taken in within the first moment you see them. In that regard the opposing messages were clear; the Palestinians were holding flags of Palestine and pictures of terrorists and banners from groups that despise western society. They have no loyalty to the country in which they now reside. There was only one Canadian flag on their side and ironically, it was held by one of the crazy Neutrei Karta Jews.

The supporters of Israel held Canadian and Israeli flags together. Their message was of the shared values of the two democratic nations. Values that Palestinian supporters of terrorism and their useful idiot Canadian allies utterly reject.

Canadian leftists` hypocrisy and deference to Islam fuels the genocide in Darfur

To the indifference of the United Nations, in a desolate part of Africa, by the hundreds of thousands, the world`s worst ongoing genocide since the reign of terror by Pol Pot`s murderous Khmer Rouge continues.

Sudan's Omar al-Bashir
The genocide in Sudan has faded from public attention, and the deaths are likely to continue for a long time because the homicidal campaign of President Omar al-Bashir to turn his country into an Islamic, Arab state has help throughout the Muslim middle east and  from conniving accessories here in the west.

And if you say anything about it, you are an Islamophobe!  Or at least, that's what lots of western enablers of a racist genocide in Africa would like people to believe.

Can you imagine even the most elementary discussion of the Holocaust without mentioning Jews and Germans? Or of the Turkish genocide of Armenians without mentioning Armenians? It sounds too ludicrous to be taken seriously.

But the equivalent happened last Wednesday when Gerald Caplan, New Democratic Party adviser and stalwart of the radical neo-Marxist website rabble.ca, wrote an article in The Globe and Mail chastising Canadian Foreign Minister John Baird for his supposed inaction on Sudan.

Not once will you find the words Arab, Islam, black, or Muslim in Caplan's article. Caplan neglects to mention whom is killing whom in Sudan or why. Relying on  Caplan's information, one is left to assume the Sudanese genocide is simply a case of a criminal president murdering random civilians.  But the truth is that these murders are not random at all. They are part of a systematic campaign by Muslim Arabs in Sudan to eradicate non-Muslim blacks.

Why are Caplan and his ilk unwilling to speak out about the motives, the perpetrators and the victims in Sudan? The answer is that motivated by trying to seek common cause with the "anti-imperialist" (i.e. anti-American, anti- Israel) Muslim world, they are fearful of pegging any atrocity they may commit to Islam. Because Arabs are among the downtrodden in their idiotic, Manichean, Marxist division of the world between oppressor and oppressed, nothing may be said against them. Instead, they obsess over the transgressions committed by capitalist countries that are inherently democratic and respectful of human rights while favoring totalitarians they see as sympathetic to their anti-capitalist aspirations.

This attitude is quite happily exploited by Islamists and their helpers in Canada and the west.

A case in point was illustrated when a member of the Canadian Public Employees Union (CUPE) challenged Ali Mallah, the union's then Vice President for Diversity, on its inaction regarding the Darfur genocide while it invested enormous resources for efforts such as vilifying Israel over its defensive actions in Gaza which resulted in a fraction of the casualties inflicted by Muslim forces in Sudan.

The response from Mallah, who not coincidentally was also a Vice President of the Canadian Arab Federation, was remarkably revealing. His answer (with his spelling and syntax errors included) was in essence to justify doing nothing by attributing attention towards Sudan to an imperialist, anti-Arab, Islamophobic conspiracy:
".. We had a  a tense discussion about this issue and It was the International Solidarity committee and later the executive of CUPE  district decision not to be dragged into a suspicios  calls by some organizations (that are well known of its biases and disregard to Human rights) to participate in demonstartions that based on Islamophobia and prejudices while shedding crocodile tears over Darfur, Sepecialy when it  is paving the way for another Imperialist project led By G.W. Bush, Condie and the rest of the gang. also, part of the debate was focused on the fact that there attempts to divide the  people of Sudan Sudanees as Arabs VS  Africans. I am sure you agree with the  fact,  that Sudan is an African Country and its people are Africans regardless of religion and  languages/ dialect."
Mallah is a close associate of the notorious pro-Iran advocate Zafar Bangash, an Islamist radical Imam who operates from York region, north of Toronto, with the two of them regularly appearing back-to-back at local anti-Israel rallies.. Bangash claims to decry racism, but his angry, volatile personality causes the veil to slip from time to time, revealing his antipathy towards blacks, having called US President Obama "that black man in the White House" and a "perfect Uncle Tom." As pro-democracy Muslim moderate Tarek Fatah has noted, Arab racism towards blacks and people with dark skin is worse than anything he has ever seen in the west.

CUPE and the union-financed website rabble.ca, published by the spouse of NDP Deputy Leader Libby Davies, are not alone among so-called "social justice" advocates who turn a blind eye to the racist, Islamic genocide of blacks in Sudan.

Alternatives International is a Montreal-based NGO that receives about a million dollars a year from the Canadian and Quebec governments. The organization, which has been able to maintain charitable status despite its financing of blatantly political campaigns, is supposedly concerned with human rights throughout the developing world.  Not surprisingly, Sudan is absent from its list of campaigns. What is interesting is that Ali Mallah is on the Board of Directors of Alternatives.

Another group that lays a questionable claim to being a "social justice" organization is the Canadian Peace Alliance. While doing nothing to advance the cause of peace, they do act as Canadian advocates for Iran, a repressive,  brutal, authoritarian regime that is the world's most blatant sponsor of terrorism.  But there is not a mention of the genocide in Sudan among their campaigns.

That shouldn't be too big a shock. Guess who is on the Steering Committee for The Canadian Peace Alliance... Ali Mallah!

Romeo Dallaire wrote a book called Shake Hands with the Devil in which he told the tale of trying to save the lives of Tutsi in Rwanda. Canada's leftists could write a book called In Bed with the Devil, where they can talk about how they sold out blacks in Sudan, and their souls, for the approbation of Islamists.

The seeds of Khomeini's hate bud in Toronto - in pictures and words

That part of our brain that harks back to the earliest stages of evolution is sometimes prompted to an instinctive revulsion and alarm by a certain type of  heinous person we may encounter from time to time.

Saturday afternoon, Toronto's Queens Park was filled with them. The men, grubby, bearded, execrable and vicious, with their their truculent, subservient women shrouded in robes as dark as their pernicious hearts. While their loathsome spokesmen preached poison, they were there in the hundreds; depraved acolytes of Iran's deceased mass-murdering, sadistic dictator Khomeini.

Khomeini held high at Queen's Park on Saturday
Ruhollah Khomeini, Iran's absolute ruler from 1979 until his welcome death in 1989, was every bit the monster as Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, or Saddam Hussein. His murderous regime systematically raped female prisoners, many of them children, and tortured and murdered its political opponents and members of  religious and ethnic minorities. It was utterly repugnant to see admirers of that bloodthirsty totalitarian teeming like vermin on the green lawn  in the shadow of the Legislature. Many, if not most of them, are immigrants to our county. Their assembly was an insult to the democratic freedoms of Canada, which they ostensibly sought as refuge, but apparently surreptitiously invaded as an evangelizing vanguard of Islamism.

Puerile support for the Khomenists was delivered by a tiny, bedraggled collection of cretinous local Marxists from groups like the Ontario Coalition Against Poverty, the so-called Canadian Peace Alliance and a group of emotionally unbalanced Jews calling themselves Independent Jewish Voices. Like pathetic ideological catamites, they came to ingratiate themselves to the Ayatollah's apostles. Between them all, that syndicate of reprobates worked themselves into a pernicious frenzy before the seat of the provincial government with the sanctification of Ontario's Speaker of the Legislature and Sergeant-at-Arms.

Announcing "the media is owned by Zionists"
Knowing journalists were scrutinizing them, they were on their best behavior, but they could not refrain from at least one anti-Semitic trope when a speaker announced that the "media, which is owned by the Zionism and the Zionist lobbies."

"Zionism is terrorism," "Zionism is racism" "Down with Israel" were chanted from bullhorns and through face veils. But conscious that the eyes of the media were upon them,  most of the heavy lifting of invective and demonization was delegated to useful idiot Jews, so the Khomeinists could pretend their anger was only towards the "Zionists."

Neutrei Kartmen Eraserheads
They dangled two clownish-looking misfits from the bizarre Jewish sect Neutrei Karta at the front of their gathering. The duo, brought in from Montreal, said nothing to the assembly, but their appearance, that seemingly mimics Nazi-era propaganda caricature depictions of Jews, spoke volumes of the depths to which the Khomeinists will descend. Neutrei Karta is a close-knit Jewish cult, many of its members look like the product of generations of inbreeding. They believe that Israel is something that God has said will be denied to the Jews until the coming of the Messiah. Since The Jewish state exists and the Messiah has not arrived, they assume that Israel is some error of God that they must correct. The cult also apparently believes that God wants them to always dress like early 19th Century Eastern Europeans in the middle of winter, as evidenced by their being garbed in round beaver hats, stocking breeches and long, heavy black overcoats on a hot August Saturday afternoon.

Sandra Ruch
The Khomeinists also paraded the corpulent Jewish owner of the Sea Hitler Gaza boat, Sandra Ruch. No lightweight to begin with, she appeared to have recently gained about 50 pounds, undoubtedly to show solidarity with the starving people of Gaza who are currently suffering from a deprivation of Dom Perignon and bacon at their luxury hotels due to dietary restrictions imposed by the Islamist Hamas government. The Islamic proscription against liquor is almost certainly a cruel but remarkably successful Zionist plot to deprive  Muslims of pleasure and make them miserable.  Ruch rambled on in a hyper-emotional diatribe in which she sounded like one imagines Justin Trudeau would if he were overdosing on the drug Ecstasy.

The tedious Suzanne Weiss spoke as well. Weiss was born in France and escaped the Holocaust as a toddler and pretends to be an expert on subjects about which she knows very little. She behaves as if her experiences as a two-year old that she cannot remember somehow bestows moral authority on her fatuous analogies of Israel with Nazi Germany.

Ken Stone near the US consulate
But the most egregious insult to decency came in the form of a speech by Ken Stone of Independent Jewish Voices, a group of 9-11 conspiracy theorists and self-hating Jews. Stone's speech recalled the notorious ravings at last year's al Quds Day gathering by the hate monger Zafar Bangash. He spoke about wanting to eliminate the Jewish nature of Israel by overwhelming it with Muslims. This is an effort Stone has invested himself into before, being an organizer of this year's Global March To Jerusalem, a planned invasion of Israel by Palestinians and its supporters in which there were deaths and dozens of injuries.

He boasted about his organization's role in working with the United Church of Canada to achieve that denomination's recently passed resolution to boycott Israeli settlement products.

Yet while pretending to be a legitimate group of Jews who are still attached to their religion but opposed to Israeli policies, Stone's uncontrolled furor led him to make a stupid mistake. Screaming about the efforts to deny the al Quds Rally a permit to assemble at Queen's Park this year, he blamed "the Jewish Lobby." Stone forgot to use the code word "Zionist," thus betraying the dual realities that most Jews want nothing to do with the fringe lunatics of Independent Jewish Voices while the members of his organization harbor malice towards their less "progressive" co-religionists.

Sid Lacombe of the pro-Iran Canadian Peace Alliance was at the rally, railing against Stephen Harper, the US, Israel and making imbecilic allegations about western conspiracies to use "Islamophobia" as a justification for raping and pillaging in Muslim countries. But that sort of idiocy is to be expected from such people.

The real comic relief at this al Quds rally came from Zafar Bangash. He courageously challenged anyone, anyone who maligned his Khomeinist followers as hate mongers or anti-Semites or those who promote the idea that Islam is oppressive, to publicly debate him. Then he quickly added the caveat that exempted from his offer were members of what he called "right-wing, fascist media." By what Bangash would likely characterize with those terms, it pretty much means if that debate were to occur, it would be limited to being between him and The Toronto Star's pro-Islamist columnist Haroon Siddiqui.

More nefarious was the speech by a denizen of Canada's anti-Israel establishment, the consistently unkempt Ali Mallah. Mallah began with the chant generally interpreted as calling for the destruction of Israel as a Jewish State: "From the River (Jordan) to the (Mediterranean) Sea, Palestine will be free." Meaning, obviously, free of Jews.

Ali Mallah at Queen's Park
Mallah was introduced as a long time fighter for "social justice." But there is interesting evidence that shows that Mallah's idea of social justice is selective and hypocritical, particularly when Muslims are the perpetrators of injustice.

Previously, Mallah had been a Vice President of both the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and the Canadian Arab Federation, the latter organization having lost its federal funding after Immigration and Citizenship Minister Jason Kenney identified it as anti-Semitic.

While a CUPE Vice President, Mallah was challenged by a member of his union, accusing him of silencing the discussion within the union about the Muslim genocide of black Africans by Arab Sudanese in Darfur.

Mallah's response, which can be seen on the CUPE website, was (his bolding, spelling and syntax errors included):
"...Now, withis the risk of giving any merit to your accusation, I inform you and all that at one meeting last year, We had a  a tense discussion about this issue and  It was the International Solidarity committee and later the executive of CUPE  district decision not to be dragged into a suspicios  calls by some organizations (that are well known of its biases and disregard to Human rights) to participate in demonstartions that based on Islamophobia and prejudices while shedding crocodile tears over Darfur, Sepecialy when it  is paving the way for another Imperialist project led By G.W.
So this individual, who has invested countless hours and untold energies into demonizing Israel for defending itself against terrorist groups, seems wiling to overlook a genocide of innocents, with hundreds of times more deaths than the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, as long as it's being perpetrated by Muslims. Mallah also felt compelled to include some anti-American conspiratorial nonsense in his ludicrous attempt to justify himself.

That, as much as anything, tells the story of our local Khomeinists' commitment to "social justice."

Iranians who escaped the Ayatollahs
Despite all the hype, the al Quds Day fiasco turned out to be a rather dull day. The Jewish Defense League turned out in large numbers to challenge the supporters of Iran's mullahs, but the most passionate were the small contingent of Iranian ex-patriots who escaped the murderous regime. Well aware of the diabolical acts of Iran's rulers and the hundreds of thousands of murders they are responsible for, their fury was palpable. And the Khomeinsts despised them even more than they resented  Jews, knowing that these honest, pro-democracy Iranians knew more than enough about them to discredit the lies of the Ayatollahs' servants.

It ended with a march from Queen's Park to the US consulate, a few blocks south on University Avenue. If the Khomeinists were hoping to win people to their cause, they will be disappointed to learn their march was counterproductive. Normal citizens walking along University Avenue who witnessed the throngs of women enveloped in burkahs and cahdors, the angry men shouting "Allahu Akbar!" and the flags of terrorist-run  Palestine and Iran, were as appalled as if some giant slime creature had crawled out from the sewer. Many commented about how revolting it was to see supporters of Iran, one of the most repressive regimes on earth,  parading through the city.

Ali Mallah promised that next year they would return to Queen's Park to demonstrate, whether they had a permit or not. Nothing that was said this year would technically qualify as hate speech, so there is no reason to deny them one in 2013. But the Khomeinists' opponents can take comfort in knowing that no one and nothing does a better job of discrediting them than they do themselves when they let average citizens see their repulsive nature out in the open.

The good guys were having more fun than the Khomeinists

One of the pro-Iran gang figured one murderous totalitarian is as good as another

Note to Khomeinist morons: Genocide is when a population goes down like in Darfur
not when it goes up, like in the Palestinian territories

Sid Lacombe of the pro-Iran Canadian Peace Alliance probably doesn't get the irony regarding
what's printed on his man-purse

This evangelical preacher caused a stir a few weeks ago at Toronto's Pride parade

This creep decided to approach and harass blogger Five Feet of Fury near the US Consulate.

Why is the government handing over $1 Million to the Sea Hitler organizers?

Alternatives International is a Montreal-based non-governmental agency that has been accorded charity status by Revenue Canada. Describing itself as "social and political movements struggling against social injustices, neoliberalism, imperialism and war," their actual charitable work is rather difficult to determine.

One of Alternatives' activities last year was to serve as the financial conduit for the Canadian boat that attempted to break the sea blockade imposed around the Gaza strip by Israel in order to prevent arms smuggling by Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon. That boat, derisively known as The Sea Hitler, was intercepted by Israel's navy after repeated warnings by the Canadian and Israeli governments against sailing to Gaza. (Currently, its Canadian owner, Sandra Ruch, is trying to launch a far-fetched lawsuit to recover the Comoros-registered vessel) .

From Alternatives' 2011 tax filing
According to its tax-filings for the 2011 calendar year, Alternatives received $685,172 from the federal government and $409,117 from provincial government (presumably Quebec) sources. That's over a million taxpayer dollars to the radical Sea Hitler organizers.

Whether Alternatives International has violated the regulations for charitable activities by intentionally engaging in activities that place both Canadians and Israelis at risk is an interesting question.

What is more clear is Alternatives' agenda. On its board sits an individual named Ali Mallah. A close confederate of notorious Khomeinist hatemonger Zafar Bangash, Mallah, a burly, perpetually unkempt Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) organizer is a fixture among the most virulent anti-Israel fanatics in Canada. He was the vice president of the Canadian Arab Federation when that organization lost its federal funding after Citizenship and Immigration Minister Jason Kenney identified it as being anti-Semitic.

Alternatives is currently the conduit for funds for another attempt to break Israel's sea embargo of the terrorist-controlled Gaza strip. This time by trying to launch the boat from Gaza.

The delivery of tax funds to an organization that seems to be engaged in activities designed to undermine Canadian foreign policy goals could be seen as not only wasteful but irresponsible. Newly appointed International Cooperation Minister Julian Fantino, who is now responsible for the Canadian International Development Agency has said he will ensure "that every nickel of taxpayer money is spent for the right reasons." A good way for him to start would be to review federal handouts to Alternatives International and put a stop to the almost three and a half million nickels it receives annually from the federal government.

Toronto Robocalls 'outrage rally' a big fail, no matter what the media tells you

At the height of the gathering at Dundas Square
Not exactly a massive outpouring of support
A rally of the usual suspects in the anti-Harper left failed to mass much of a turnout in Toronto this afternoon.

Piggybacking on Toronto's St.Patrick's Day Parade, they were still unable to accumulate more than 1000 people, despite the organizers' inflated claims of three thousand being in attendance.

Some "average Canadians" outraged
about the Robocalls
What was striking about the rally was not who was there, but who wasn't. Other than a handful of curiosity seekers and media, there was no indication of interest from any normal, mainstream Canadians in the manufactured outrage that opponents of the current government are trying to inflame.

The crowd was made up exclusively of members of the International Socialists, some unkempt burned-out pseudo-hippies who were ejected from the Occupy Toronto encampment a few months ago, union activists who have a pro-Islamist bent, like Ali Mallah, and some pro-Iranian Islamists like notorious hatemonger Zafar Bangash who employ radical leftists as their useful idiots in their efforts to harm the pro-Israel government of Stephen Harper.

Ali Mallah chats up some Harper-hatin' 'sisters'
Rally co-organizer Bangash mounted a pick up truck sporting an AL QUDS vanity plate owned by the recently defunded terror-apologists at Palestine House to deliver a heated speech. He denounced Harper and threatened that Canada's Prime Minister would "end up in a cage" like Egypt's recently deposed Hosni Mubarak. Another of the organizers suggested that Harper is a fascist,  failing to understand that if we actually were living under fascist rule, rallies of the type he was speaking at wouldn't be allowed to occur.

The rally itself was less impressive than the anti-Harper rallies that were initiated by the far left and NDP activists prior to the last general election when the Governor General prorogued Parliament at the Prime Minister's request. The public also saw through the AstroTurf political movement behind that hyperbole. At the time, the Conservatives had a minority government, and if the outrage expressed by the Liberals and NDP wasn't fake, they had only to pass a non-confidence motion to force another election as soon as Parliament resumed. They failed to do that, and when they finally mustered the initiative to bring down the Harper government with a motion finding it in contempt of Parliament, the resulting election gave the Conservatives a solid majority.

The media to protester ratio was extremely high
The "robocalls" issue is a serious one and deserves police investigation for the possibility of election fraud. But LeadNow.ca is behind the manufactured outrage that is preposterously suggesting that the government itself was responsible for misleading automated phone calls they claim invalidates the last election. One only has to look at who is involved with LeadNow to get an accurate idea of what the "outrage" is really about.

Lead Now's advisers read like a who's who of the Looney Left, with Judy Rebick, NDP advisor Ian Capstick, Canadian Auto Workers economic advisor Jim Stafford,  and a host of other fellow travellers who are lending their hand to a political manipulation machine.

Not quite the 3000 people the organizers claimed
Not by a long shot
Combined with characters like pro-Iran shills Bangash and Mallah, the fake movement to stir up anger at the government over the robocalls will end up as just another tiresome exercise in bias confirmation for a handful of radical leftist fanatics and their cheerleaders in the media. For the rest of Canada, it's just another yawn.
