Al-QuAIA suicide bombs Toronto's Pride Festival

The selfish insistence of the anti-Israel group, "Queers Against Israeli Apartheid" (QuAIA) to infuse themselves into, and politicize Toronto's Pride Festival, has placed the future of the event in jeopardy.

Pride has suffered vastly reduced revenues due to withdrawals of sponsorships. Next year, the festival itself is at risk, since Pride has received written notice from sponsors that they will no longer contribute until the issue of the anti-Israel group's participation is resolved. Combined with the risk of losing city funding next year because of their participation, "Queers Against Israeli Apartheid" may have effectively sabotaged Toronto's Pride.

Thanks. This made my day.

The management of Pride made their decision to defend, tolerate and promote Quaia and their toxic message. So now let them live with the result!

They should approach Iran for funding and offer to run a float featuring "gays" hanging from building cranes.

I totally agree with the idea of removing all sources of funding from Pride if Quaia is allowed in the parade next year. I am a Gay Jew who has fought for Gay Rights for almost 30 years and was in fact in the second pride parade in Toronto 29 years ago.

This group is SO off base it's not even remotely funny AND if you look at similar groups they actually blame Israel for homophobia in other part of the Middle East. What the . . . . !

Nature is taking its course. Now that it's on the wire that "Pride" is in a state of moral turpitude, mainstream anything will throw them under the bus, and the sponsors leave in droves and stay there. There's been so much media about it that any kind of internet search shows the racism and how the mgmt pulled a fast one on the city of TO. After this they can go back to having their party in a park, sponsored by the Anarchist Bookstore and Palestine House.

Whole new concept here and i should research the history of this group before i weigh in. From what i have read so far though i get the idea that this is mostly an anti Isreali group and who need them mucking things up?If i carry bubonic plague are you going to have me over for tea and crumpets? I did not think so.
